Nice car with idiosyncratic feature choices
Overall I like the car. Drives well and looks more lux on inside than the outside. There are several odd choices that are annoying.
1. Stopping charge session and disengaging the plug is inconsistent and confusing. No way to stop charging from the inside.
2. The NFC phone charging platform makes the phone to get so hot that the phone stops working.
3. The choice of i-pedal max regenerative braking, my choice always, does not stay selected when the car is turned off. When I restart the car I have to up shift from Level 3 to i-pedal max. Every. Single. Time.
4. The app only allows for a single scheduled charging session in a 24 hour period and at that only works about 80% of the time. It does not always turn on when it is supposed to or even turn off when it is supposed.
5. No lie-flat option for the passenger seat, just the driver. How often is the driver going to want to nap vs the passenger?
6. Lie flat drivers seat option is not that comfortable. The leg rest hits about mid-calf and the rest of your leg dangles off.
7. If the back seat is folded down the lie flat drivers seat option tries to go down anyway and gets stuck.
8. The emergency manual key is not integrated into the remote. Just hangs out on its own.
9. The auto "move forward or backward" on the remote does not work most of the time.
10. Heads-up display is nearly invisible with polarized sunglasses on.
11. Auto lane change does not seem to sense motorcycles very well especially if they are splitting lanes.
12. Proximity display on the highway do not differentiate between huge trucks and tiny cars around you.
13. Auto lane change with highway speed control on can lead to rapid acceleration when exiting the freeway. I end up disableing both features just before exiting any freeway.
