Back Bumper

My 2013 genesis has less than 30,000 miles. The back bumper has rust looking spots surfacing through the paint. The bottom part of the bumper has spots where the outer coating of the paint is bubbling up and peeling off. Sad that Hyundai manufacturer will not replace my bumper at no cost. Such a classy car with an I don’t care attitude by the company. I got an estimate of approximately 1200.00 to replace it, however, financially, I can’t get it fixed. I bought the millineum insurance for it to find out it doesn’t cover plastic (which the bumper is made of)!!! It was submitted to Hyundai, and they only offered to pay half!!! I would really think hard before I bought another Hyundai. Sad but true. Eileen Fox

I love my car. The salesman was really helpful. I love driving and riding in my Genesis. If something ever happens to it , I will probably purchase another one. Great gas mileage and comfortable to ride and drive.

Our Luxury Auto for Half the Price

Every time we are ready to trade our Genesis in for another Luxury Car, we look at all of the other manufacturers and we keep coming back to the Genesis. We have test driven cars twice the price of the Genesis and find very minimum difference between the two cars, therefore, we end up with another Genesis.

Genesis 5.0 R spec

This has been one of the best car I have ever owned. I 57,500 miles and not had any problems. Love the power and still get 20 miles to a gallon unless the kids drive it. I am looking forward to the GV80 coming out .

Hyundai Genesis review.

This car meets and exceeds every expectation that I had for it, prior to purchase. Having had American cars before this purchase (and having had no complaints regarding their reliability), moving to a Hyundai could have been a bit of a challenge for me. It wasn’t. I really am enjoying my new car and all of its’ many ‘extras’ that are in the car.

2013 Genesis R-spec

I've had this vehicle for four years and I absolutely love it. It works for me no matter what mood I'm in. I have sensitive hearing so I really enjoy that I can have total peace and quiet when I'm going down the road. Almost dead silence. However, when I want to blast the fantastic sound system I can enjoy every note on a whole range of music from classical to EDM. In addition to all of this luxury I can make the 5.0 V-8 engine (cranking out 429 horsepower) scream when I feel like reverting to my muscle car days. My wife doesn't know about this last point. She thinks my Genesis is just a luxury sedan.

The Beast

I love my 5.0 r spec genesis. I have a magnifiow exhaust system and a k&n filter. She runs like a beast and is very good on regular gas. I want a new g90 but I’m still in love with my 2013. I wish this car came in a coupe 5.0 r spec. I would have that one too!!!

Great Car!

I wasn't really aware of the Hyundai brand until I started my new job. I had a company car for most of my career and took whatever they gave me. My new job pays an allowance. So, driving 100 miles per day, I wanted something nice, but not too expensive. I also wanted minimal repairs and a long warranty. My boss drives an Equos, so I decided to look. I found my car 2 years old with only 8,000 miles! It may not handle as well as my Porsche's and BMW, but it is a very nice car. The ride is excellent. 330 hp from a 6 cylinder and 27 mpg with a 100,000 warranty, what's not to like. Awesome value.

Engine Starting Problem

I love every thing about my Genesis R-Spec, meaning; very comfortable, nice handling around corners and on the highway and love the power. The only negative I have is for the engine starting problem I've been having since I purchased vehicle new on November 15, 2013.

Better than a Lexus

Better value, Better ride, Better features, Better car! I had always driven a Lexus, and never thought I would purchase / drive any other car but a Lexus. However, when I took a test drive, all bets were off, the Genesis was simply better!

Great car

5 years later still looks good inside and out especially inside most interiors start to look beaten up at this stage. Plenty of power and comfort. When you compare apples to apples this car is very hard to beat, best bang for the buck.

Been driving for 60 years. Don't know how many cars I've owned, but I've had a number of "nice" cars, and this Genesis is the most comfortable, smoothest, best a handling automobile-- bar none. Will get another one when the time comes.

A great vehicle

This is by far the best new car that I have ever owned. I have only had to replace the battery and maintain the scheduled maintenance on the car and it runs great No major repairs. If I needed another car I would buy another Genesis Sedan.

I love this car

I love my Hyundai Genesis!! The options and the warranty that came standard with this car would have cost me thousands more in the Mercedes Benz C class that I had prior to my Genesis. I was laughed at for going from a Mercedes to a Hyundai but the joke's on them when they see the car inside and out . People sleep on the Genesis but let them keep napping and asking me who makes it and the expression(s) on their faces when I say Hyundai is priceless.

Better than BMW

I love this car. I've owned two BMWs in the past, one of which was a 750Li, the other a 325i. They were both expensive and temperamental nightmares compared to my Genesis. The Genesis R-Spec sedan is pound for pound, dollar for dollar, a superior car and driving experience. I've been offered more than high book-value for the car on several occasions, but I will never sell this car. I will drive it until either I, or it, can't run anymore.

Got what I was expecting

So far, so good. I saw this car, researched it and purchased it based on research. Nice technical package for a 2013 and I get positive comments on it all the time. The body styling is classy and the features/amenities are solid. No showy but classy look and amenities. Bought it used -- 56000 miles -- and so far no problems with mechanics, electronics, or structure. Good value in its class.

Review of my 2013 Genesis

Great car. Easy to maintain with Hyundai service. Fit and finish is excellent. When people ride with me, their first comment is that it is so quiet. The safety devises in the Genesis are excellent. I used the Smart cruise control in L.A. traffic and it worked beautifully without much help from me. The distance was always as I wanted, and not too scary. Never was there any abrupt braking. Sometimes the return to speed was a little slow, but with my throttle it was easily overcome. This is a great car.
