Perfectly fine sedan for the money

The Elantra does everything a sedan is expected to do. However, the interior could definitely use more style and the CarPlay interface is limited and difficult to navigate.

The car is nice but, as a passenger it feels like you're sitting on the ground unlike you can raise the seat as a drive which is nice. I wish you could set the seat settings on the driver seat vs having to move it every time. There is a flat spot on the gas peddle when taking off which is very bad and unsafe

ISSUE MONTHS AFTER I GOT CAR

My screen would cut out and restart randomly and quite often. They replaced the screen and still didn’t correct it. Took it back and they said I needed cable harness which took TWO months to come in. This corrected the issue but having to wait for harness was ridiculous. Maps would cut off at wrong time and music and other functions too. I bought my wife a 2023 Elantra at same dealer brand new and bought mine 2 years later after I drove hers for the first time I loved it so I bought mine. Love the car just customer service keeping me updated on harness cable was terrible

Not Great

Car is very reliable, but some of the amenities leave something to be desired. Car tens to vibrate at times at low speeds, and the ride is a bit rough. I think a lot of that has to do with the tires. Texting is not great, as the system frequently doesn’t understand my commands, and it doesn’t let me dictate a response. Radio display leaves something to be desired. Instead of being in the middle of the screen, the song and artist are crammed into the corner, making it difficult to read. Navigation system often misinterprets my destination. My 2021 Elantra integrated with Waze, while this system doesn’t, and it’s not as good.

Still A Superb Value

You get a lot for the price. Seats are comfy enough for road trips. Great MPG. Only knock is the windows are thin, and rattle a bit when pulled down a bit when driving.
