Hyundai elantra sel

Hyundai elantra sel 2023 have good fuel economy but doesn't have cooled seats, sunroof or parking sensors which I really wish it could have been in.

Best Gas Mileage

My Hyundai Elantra has excellent gas mileage. I average about 42 MPG and sometimes get up to 45 MPG. This is the best gas-saving vehicle I ever had. The performance is good, but, of course, because this is a small car, it cannot compete with other larger vehicles that have 6 or 8-cylinder engines. Overall, I am satisfied with my Elantra

Disappointing

A let down. Steering all over the place, smart cruise annoying to potentially dangerous and you would think for an SEL it would have the brief hong noise when you lock it, rather than a faint chirp. GPS system tries its best to get you lost. Virtually no head room and not even small compartments to put things in back seat.Worst feature is the bar like plastic arch in between front seats.

Great with quirks

Love the look and feel of the Elantra. My only gripe is certain areas that appear premium end up being cheap. My gear shifter rattles when in certain temperatures or speed. My digital instrument cluster will reboot several times when the car starts and my Apple Carplay can be laggy for the first few uses when the car starts. Other than that, the seats are comfortable (I would love lumbar support for the passenger seat), and the car drives smoothly. A few other things I would suggest adding would be an "Oh sh** bar" to the driver's side and update the software to support hyundai digital key (using your phone as the car key).

It's a great car. It gives a great ride. There's a lot of room in it.

It's a great car. I would definitely recommend Hyundai to everybody. This is the third one I had, and I love it. You know, so vent have thick skin, your patients tested a lot. Just he did, I did all that.

Great Commuter Car

Although I have only 21K miles on this car so far it has been a nice economy sedan, with excellent gas mileage and a beautiful gauge cluster with automated features. My only complaint is the halogen lights and the tacky H on the 2023 models. The 2024 and above refresh has LED lights and has made the H's chrome like and more integrated with the body of the car.

Good buy.

Disappointed in Hyundai policy of “free” oil changes without stating you have to drive 7500 miles as a lot of older folks like myself don’t drive that much . In my case only 3200 miles after 1 year and six months and then told by dealer to pay for change to protect my investment. Why not base on time or mileage as oil does degrade over time. ??
