Love Our Elantra(s)

We have 2008, 2013 and 2014 Elantras in our family. They have proven to be highly reliable and dependable cars. Zero defects at delivery in the 2008 and 2014 which were purchased new. I love the looks of the 2012-2016 models especially (not sure how I feel about the 2017 redesign yet other than the new safety features). The interior is very nicely laid out (although I wish the backup camera screen was a little bigger). It rides very nicely and is quiet except when under hard acceleration (like getting up to speed on highway on ramp). You do have to watch blind spots due to the front roof pillars and the back up camera on the 2014 is a big help. Not quite as much fun to drive as a Mazda 3 but it still handles well and is not as noisy or expensive either. Take any availalble rebates on new purchases into consideration because they can quickly if not instantly "devalue" the car below your purchase price -- For example, I missed an additional $500 rebate offer by 1 day.

The vehicle is just right for me. It has some blind spots. Overall the performance is great. The economics is great. Like the gps and the telephone so you can be safe.

Daughters car

My daughter loves this car. She attends UMD and comes home on the weekends often. Almost 40 MPG. Runs as good as the day we bought it. I would recommend this car to everyone

I have been driving a Elantra for over 6 years. I like how they drive they are very fuel efficient. There is plenty of room for 4 adults. The trunk has plenty of room and the back seats fold down to give you even more room.
