2017 Tucson Hyundai

Tucson by Hyundai was a disappointment due to the very loud engine noise coming out of the car. In order to drive the car you have to have the radio on to drowned out the two competing noises of the engine and The grinding noise that occurs after car has warmed up .

2017 Hyundai Tucson

I was impressed by the 37.1 mileage I got on a road trip with my SUV Hyundai Tucson. I used ECO and mostly the speed limit on interstate driving along with AC on. This is great mileage for an SUV. Handles well and has quick acceleration.

My Tucson is very economic, drives smooth and is comfortable enough. It’s missing some features like apple play and better sound system. After 30,000 miles you can hear some engine noise that is a bit disturbing

Do not like the way car shifts very rough ride.was told that shifting is like manual transmission to cut gas use. Otherwise car is very nice with lots of extras. Especially like the automatic hatch opener.

Great SUV

My wife loves the Tuscan. We own two Hyundai’s. The other one is a veloster. We will buy another in the future. The heated seats are a great comfort in the winter time. The style is wonderful for the 2017. I don’t like the new looks of the Tuscan. Hyundai should have left the front end the same on the new ones.

Great car, but.....

I love my Tucson. I have the limited edition and comes fully equipped. It drives great! It’s comfy inside! And I enjoy the fully equipped features/amenities it comes with. However, I’ve had to take it to the dealer a few times for major repairs and that, was annoying. One of them was a transmission issue, which took almost a month and a half to complete. While it was at the dealer for that long, I was in a crappy sedan rental car, and not an SUV. I mean at least put me in a nice rental car?!?!? The other issue was a torque /acceleration issue. Now my car is doing fine! Yes! But those two issues bugged me! I’m hopeful, that if my next car is a Tucson, that I don’t have to deal with these issues again.

TUCSON IN THE DESERT

Overall car has been pretty good..Occasionally transmission starts out with a hesitation stutter when temperature goes above 100 degrees here in our desert climate, much as reviewed in prior years models. Gas mileage is not great (22 average), but that an acceptable trade-off for the great turbo performance the car provides.

Takeoff from a stand still.

Takeoff from a stand still is inconsistent. Often the car feels like it is running on two cylinders for a short distance.. The service before this last one fixed it but the problem has come back (some of the time). Sometimes there is a short delay at takeoff and then it picks up seed too quickly which is a little concerning.

The sales manager Shawn was Excellant every time I go in he was pleasant I thank him every time I see him for his assistance .when I leased this car 2017 Tuscon the best and as for my salesman very nice gentleman and wouldn't go to anyone else

OMG!!! Love the Tuscon!

My 2017 Tuscon is stylish, comfortable, versatile and fun to drive. We tried all of the competitors SUV's in the same category as the Tuscon, everyone of them was SIGNIFCANTLY more expensive and not nearly as well appointed. I have Had my car for two years now put on nearly 45,000 miles without a single regret. The Hyundai is not a cheap car, it is a high quality vehicle at a great price! Try one before you buy anything else, you'll be happy you did.

Great Mileage, Performance Sacrifices

Great gas mileage, but the car feels like an old timer, you can feel the gears shifting. It takes a good amount of adjusting to get used to the stutter you get going up hills or trying to accelerate quickly. This is my 3rd Tucson, and it might be my last. The turning ratio is very wide - negotiating tight city spaces is not it's a strong point. The cross strap of the seatbelt is awkward and uncomfortable. And, the interior lights of the back are on the side, not the ceiling, so once you put groceries in there - it's dark.

Nice vehicle, this is the second one we have owned

This is the second Tucson we have owned. We like the size and performance of the vehicle. We always have bought the front wheel drive units because we tow them with our RV using a tow dolly with the Tucson driven up on the tow dolly. We are very happy with the size, comfort. and performance of our Tucson

This is my first Tucson. My wife and I really enjoy it.

The Tucson seems to be a very reliable vehicle. Both my wife and I enjoy driving it. I would and have reconmended it to my friends. It has plenty of room in the front seat and also the back seat. It also has enough storage space in the back.

An excellent vehicle in all respects

Vehicle looks good, runs well, seating is comfortable, and has met all my expectations. Excellent gas mileage for a vehicle this size. I was surprised it was made in Alabama. I would purchase another Hyundai again.

Great Vehicle

This is my 2nd Tucson that I have leased. I love it. It rides so nice, is very quiet and has plenty of room. I just took a weekend trip and got 30 MPG. I'm sure next year I will be leasing another one.
