Best car buying experience to date!

Not a good experience

This was the worst purchase I've ever made. We ordered over two years ago, of course our deposit was taken immediately, and we were giving a purchase price. As the years went by, Ford sent emails saying our purchase price was protected even as year models changed. During this time, Ford would send emails saying to check with our Dealer for delivery updates. Mike White, our Dealership, always told us that we would get delivery info before them. Seems strange.
We made a couple of visit to Mike White, our Dealership, during the waiting period, and meet with Tim Claflin the Finance Manager at Mike White in Sandpoint, to discuss delivery and review vehicle pricing. Tim would always show a purchase sheet higher than what we originally agreed too, but he would always tell us not to worry because our original purchase price was protected, which matched the Ford emails stating the same.
When the vehicle arrived, this was probably the first time in the buying process that Mike White (Tim Claflin)_ reached out to us. I went in to pick up the vehicle at the Sandpoint location, met with Tim Claflin, and we proceeded to purchase the vehicle. When I was shown the purchase price it was higher than the original price. Tim Claflin said that Ford was offering a 2023 Bronco Model Year Transition Private Offer of $3220 to help offset the price increase. Even with this rebate from Ford, the price was still $1450 higher than the original price. I ask Tim Claflin how this could be and provided him with emails from Ford showing that our original purchase price was guaranteed, plus a $500 discount for the sound deadening headliner. Tim Claflin said that was he price and we did not have to accept that price and cancel the sell and get our deposit back. After wait two years!! Tim Claflin said he would check with his regional manager to see if anything could be done to get the $1450 back to us. He also told me that he would send a contact so I could reach out to Ford explaining the situation as well. That was the last time I heard anything from Tim Claflin.. I called him, I emailed him to try and find out how he was doing with the regional manager and to get the contact he told me he was going to send me, and he Ghosted me.. Not a word. Still today, not a word from him.
I switched gears and got in touch with Paul Kloepfer, the General Manager at Mike White Ford in Sandpoint, ID. Paul Kloepfer said he would take a look at the situation and get back with me. Again, I heard nothing from Paul, I called weekly to get and update, finally I got a voice mail from Paul saying that he had requested a solution and it would take 7 days to get a response and he would let me know. I waited 3 weeks, and still nothing from Paul Kloepfer. I called Paul Kloepfer on Monday March 27th to get an update. He ask if I had received the refund check in the amount of $1450, and that he had left me a voice mail. I had not received the voice mail nor the check and to Paul Kloepfer that. He said that he check on it to ensure the check was sent and call me back. I did recieve the $1450 rebate check yesterday but still have not heard anything from Paul Kloepfer.

Thank you for making this right. Sorry I have to type this, but you have to know how unprofessional and unreliable your top managers at the Mike White Sandpoint (Pondery) dealership are. I may have bugged these people for information about the refund for the overcharge, but I think this could have been prevented the day we purchase the vehicle by Honoring the original sales price offered to us as Ford stated in emails that they would do. Tim Claflin position is being filled by the wrong person. The individual in that position should PROFESSIONAL, HONEST and RELIABLE, Tim Claflin possesses none of these qualities.

We've bought a couple of New Ford vehicles of the Years, Not sure we'll do that again, certainly not from Mike White in Sandpoint, as the Ford Team Service is NOT good. Overall, this was Horrible purchasing experience.

Hope you get better. Thank for Honoring the original purchase price.

Mike White did a great job from the sales person Johnathan to the finance person Mike they both did a fantastic job made it a seamless transition answered all my questions helped me even after I’d already taken delivery and forgot a few things he was more than happy to field my calls and walk me through how to reprogram the keypad entry, so great stuff can’t recommend them enough awesome customer service
