Average

I have had @ 6 explorers over the last 20 years and this one had options we liked however there were some we didn’t. The older cars were definitely more solid. I am sure the other manufacturers are the same or worse. I have been a Ford man and always will be but they are getting cheaper but NOT inexpensive

Explorer ST Review

Love the ST, in a world of boring SUV's the ST stands out. Handling is truly amazing for the size. As we found out at the ST SUV Experience. Handled the autocross better than most cars. Very quick and nimble. Throttle response is quick and responsive. Interior seats are comfortable on long trips. Rear seats are well thought out and easy to use. Couple complaints. Infotainment system is not reliable. Sync has many issues with connecting. B&O Stereo is incredibly subpar compared with other cars in the class. Not of fan of the rotary shifter. Looks and feels cheap. Auto/Stop start is annoying at lights and would like to have an option to permanently disable and not have to press the button. Get rid of the 21" wheels. There are very few tire options in this size and are much more expensive than 20 or 22" wheel size. We ended up getting 20" aftermarket wheels with winter tires and it was cheaper than tires on the 21" wheels.
