It's good but sound system has issues yeah

The vehicle is good but the speakers might have an issue one in particular on the driver side a reverberates when sound plays and takes away from the experience

We are enjoying the newest features of our 2025 Hybrid. We traded in a 2019 Sante Fe that we loved and we wanted a vehicle of similar size and the Tucson fit the bill.

Quiet ride but cruise control doesn't work when I wear sunglasses

One problem I have found is that when I put my sunglasses on my cruise control shuts off ! Also, my interior fan runs sometimes when the car is shut off, maybe 15 minutes.

2025 Tucson Hybrid Limited

Although it's a nice looking vehicle I'm not quite happy with three things. 1 - Although the vehicle is quiet the suspension is extremely firm and when you hit rough patches in the road it feels like you're driving a truck. 2 - Occasionally you feel a slight loss of power when driving as it switches from hybrid to engine. 3 - The HVAC system is odd as it doesn't remember the last setting (defrost, upper vents, lower vents) and when you switch on the system you have to toggle to get the correct vent location.

Great Vehicle

We've owned the 2025 Tucson Hybrid for 2.5 months. It has been an excellent vehicle and has exceeded our expectations. After test driving several compact hybrid SUVs, this was the one that stood out to us. It feels more like driving a sedan than it does a larger vehicle, which we really like. We have the blue trim with cloth seats. They are the most comfortable base-level cloth vehicle seats we've ever had. Before purchasing, I saw some reviews saying it doesn't get the advertised 38 mpg. After driving 2,000 miles with a mixture of suburban, highway, and city, we're getting 39-40 combined mpg. No issues so far, but reliability will make itself known over the next several years.

Pleased with purchase

This car has been very enjoyable to drive and given better than expected gas mileage. My only complaint is that I wish there would have been an option in my model to have cloth seats.

Unnecessary complexity

It is a nice vehicle but I own another 2025 that cost 27% less and is more pleasurable to drive. The drive mode switch is easily pushed by accident and IMO sport mode could cause an accident. I had to put a block of wood over it. The side looking 360 parking cameras are hugely distorted compared to other 2025 makers. If you use the paddle to help with downhill braking, be warned that it will turn off without warning if the battery is charged. I haven't been able to get rid of the Sports Media listings. I deselect them constantly. You would think that the system would do a better job of prioritizing the programs that I am actually selecting. Like my phone, there are too many tones, warbles and beeps. Some alerts should be spoken in actual language!! The front boundary on the camera, when parking, is hard to see against many common surfaces. When accelerating in ECO mode, the engine stays too long in a low gear, over-revving and jumping upon upshift. Plus it jumps into Gas mode in many situations where EV would have worked fine. There is a huge cowl over the back window and I think it will prevent me from using my bike rack. The front grill looks like a cross between Alien Predator and a Daft Punk helmet. And to get the 360 camera I had to upgrade to an expensive trim with mandatory tinting and no desirable paint choices. I will keep the vehicle, but I won't recommend it.

2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited

As an overall vehicle package, Hyundai did a great job! However, my Limited Trim Tucson could use some additional features, which are standard on competitors' Limited or Top Trim levels. They are: >Power folding mirrors. >Brighter headlights, especially on the low-beam setting. Perhaps, adaptive headlights. >Better sounding sound system, including surround sound and other sound-enhancing features/adjustments. Sound quality is below average and disappointing. >One-touch up/down windows all around, not just front windows. >Self-locking doors setting when you walk away from the car. >Cruise control set/resume procedures are somewhat confusing, unlike other manufacturers (e.g., Honda, Toyota).
