So Much for Efficiency

The car has a great EPA. It is advertised at 35 miles per gallon, but unfortunately, that isn't my story. I'm only averaging about 26-27 miles per gallon. I've been tracking almost every trip since I realized that it is not getting good gas mileage. My fuel tank reading decreases 3-5 miles per actual driven mile with each trip that I take.

Good but not BEST

I love the interior. The features I love – Heated, ventilated front seats, the display screen, the heads-up display, wireless charging Issues/Don’t Like - 1. Feature – This feature that is not up to the mark , Forward Attention Warning, which does not work when I wear my prescription glasses which transition to darker shades or when I wear any dark sun glasses, while driving 2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Ltd in driver assist mode (Smart Cruise control) the vehicle warns (Forward Attention Warning) me with some message, and it almost stopped the car and then deactivates the cruise control... Because of this it is becoming very problematic to use the driver assist features. I do not see this eye attention feature of any use and is not helping people like me who wear prescription glasses which transition to darker shades during daytime. 2. Exterior – The doors do not get unlocked when I try to pull the door handle with the fob key in my pocket. It beeps & flashes but does not unlock, most of the time I must unlock the car by pressing the unlock button on the fob key. This is very frustrating. 3. Exterior – The turn signals are too low, they should be at the same level or above the break lights, I mostly drive within the city (downtown) and people drive too close & they cannot see the turn signals.

Was great for 1 week.

I purchased the vehicle in early May 2025. After 9 days it had to go in for warranty repair. Got it back after 4 days. Problem persisted and it has been in the shop for the last 8 weeks. Buyback was approved and getting a Honda instead. Worst car buying experience I have ever had.

On my second Tuscan

I love my Tuscan Hybrid. The features are great. Love the camera display on dash, the heads up display while driving, the ability to use apple car play, the ability to change heat/cooling, radio stations, etc by touching button on steering wheel and talking. The style gets compliments. The ride is smooth with enough room for 3 adults in back seat area.
