Really like my new Tucson

Really very comfortable and easy to drive. Not all the technology is intuitive enough and there is not enough availability of setting up personal preferences in terms of screen layout and startup screens. Time to initialize and make the vehicle ready to drive after start button is pressed is too long.

Lots of features & comfort but a few missing & irritating glitch

Comfortable, Stylish, Affordable, Good Gas Mileage. Missing a few Features - No folding mirrors, rearview mirror tilt limitations, can't lock trunk from outside, can't lock car when exiting by using interior door button. Lift Gate Proximity Sensor too sensitive - Can't wash car with hose without opening trunk unless I disable the feature. Dashboard Console Problems - Loose Connection/fault.

Pleased with the purchase

Great looking car. There are a lot of them on the road right now, hopefully that will keep part prices down and resale prices up. Love the exterior looks. I don’t mind the interior but the technology package is a bit underwhelming. Some basic features seem buried and several options for settings like what the default display is aren’t stored and don’t persist. On XM specifically the station is featured more prominently than the music playing (artist/song). Favorites work but fall back to their band FM/XM etc when you restart the vehicle rather than staying in favorites. None are deal breakers but constant nuisance. The car also seems oddly difficult to exit without bumping the door with my feet. Do like the remote start and blulink options. Comfort options are also nice but would prefer it there was an option for them to persist between car cycles.

Overall great vehicle to drive.

This replaced our 2015 Toyota RAV4 that was very reliable. We have owned this 2025 Hyundai Tucson for three months, drove on vacation and have about 4,000 miles on it. Overall so far, this is the best vehicle we have owned. With so many additional features, time will tell if it will match the RAV4 reliability. Quiet, smooth and comfortable driving. The large digital screen is easy to read. Lots of saftey features. Love that the driver memory remembers the seat position and the side mirror adjustments. A side view appears on the screen when you put on the turn signal. You can see at a glance if the lane change area is clear. It has the panoramic moon roof that we will never use, but was included in the Limited version. Just a heat sink, as we live in the Phoenix AZ area. I think it is a real drawback that is does not come with a spare tire, but just a small emergency repair kit. I solved this by removing the styrofoam insert in the under floor storage and purchasing a used rim and new full size tire. Turns out that this space is actually made to fit a full size spare. The air conditioned seats are a blessing in our hot climate.

Electronics make driving difficult

The "take a break warning" is very annoying. Why have a disable option in settings if it does not disable the feature. Two hands at the top sides of a steering is not compatible with handicap issues that make the hold constantly not feasible. Additionally, the requirement to disable the lane departure after each time the cruse speed is reset is another frustrating feature. The camera on the steering is invasive and unnecessary. Had I understood its functioning i would have not purchased the car. My previous Hyundai did not have that feature.

Good gas mileage

We would like this car a lot better if it was the one we were told we were buying. We traded in a Santa Fe and were told that the Tucson had all the features that the Sana Fe did. It does not!! So, we are not happy with the car and never will be.

The ride is quiet, smooth, and economical. I’m still learning the operation of the vehicle. Sometimes the vehicle comes back on after I’ve turned it off but it hums to get your attention and it is turned off again.
