The BEST I have *ever* owned and driven... Period.

I bought my very 1st automobile in 1974. My 2025 SC Limited is the 20th. New and/or used, Bought or leased - Sedans, coupes, sports cars, wagons, hatchbacks, pickups. Some were bigger, some smaller, some more or less powerful, had better or worse gas mileage, could carry more or less people or cargo, etc etc - the list goes on. Out of them *all*, I have finally found the perfect vehicle - for *me*. The ride is so good, the seats (up front) so comfortable, and it is *quiet*. Gas mileage is very reasonable for a 4300 pound vehicle. Drivability is GREAT, with brisk acceleration, nimble handling, and excellent stability. The style is fantastic, the amenities are everything I've ever wanted and more. Solid as a rock, this Limited is, I plan on buying it off at lease end and keep her til the wheels fall off... then nail them back on and drive it a bunch more! This is my 2nd Santa Cruz. My 1st was supposed to be a 2022 SEL Activity, but they upsold me to the SEL Premium, which I enjoyed immensely for 3 years - so much so, in fact, that when lease end came, I decided I wanted ALL the bells and whistles, and traded in for the Limited. Not regretting the extra expense one single bit!!

My Santa Cruz experience

I have really enjoyed this purchase and Its a great utilitarian crossover vehicle. It drives & handles REALLY well, it's relatively comfortable, offers plenty of legroom, the storage compartments are super friggin handy! I will say some of the interior molding is kind of cheap, but just in certain areas.

Great functional and good looking truck.

After putting some miles on the Santa Cruz, it’s a solid truck minor issues are the console lid is situated to far back and is difficult to access anything inside. It would be great if the driving mode would stay in what you put it in. All in all it’s a great truck for the money.

Santa Cruz review

I bought my Santa Cruz new in April 2025. It is really great vehicle to drive. At this point I have 0 complaints. It’s comfortable and easy to drive. The driving assist features and blind spot cameras are by far my favorite and make me feel safe on the road. I love how customizable the dash and interior lighting is. Another favorite feature is the ability to have multiple drivers and the settings are remembered depending on the driver.

Nice vehicle, terrible Bluelink support

I like my Santa Cruz. There was a problem with the Bluelink from the beginning. It would not work at the dealership. I tried for several months to get it resolved but it is still unresolved. They continue to ask me for paperwork and say they tried calling but they didn’t. I am done with this. I guess I will just drive my truck without the full capacity that I paid for. The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’m 66 years old and have purchased many new vehicles. Never have I been treated this way. Never has I had no solid effort to get the problem resolved. Pitiful!!!

Fun Vehicle

The SC has been our beach buggy having made 4 trips in 4 months. Highway mileage has been over 29 mpg. No mechanical problems or concerns thus far. My complaint is with Hyundai for false advertising and the dealer. Both stated the SC was pre wired for a tow hitch. Not so. Having to take the dash apart is not being prewired!
