2025 Pslasade bench seat configuration
This car drives well and feels very safe. I’m happy with many features of the vehicle although I greatly regret not getting a captains chair seat configuration. As much as I want to love this car and be happy about it, I can’t. Despite all the detailed measuring and research I did prior to purchase, I could not fit 3 cars seats for young grandchildren across the second row bench seats ( my top priority) which by my measurements I thought they would. That was the purpose for even purchasing a new vehicle, as I was very happy with my Honda, and had planned to keep it until It no longer functioned. Unfortunately it could only hold two car seats. That is my fault and HUGH regret making this purchase, esp as I do not purchase new vehicles often. Every time I drive it, I regret this choice for having to utilized the 3rd row for two car seats so I can fold the second row seats forward to access the back row. It creates lack of storage for grocery shopping and like activities, as well as, and even more importantly it is much more cumbersome to buckle young children in and out of car seats. It does not make using this vehicle comfortable and I feel stuck with it, even after much research and measuring to meet my needs.
I also extremely disappointed that it does not have a CD player. With so many great features in this car, the engineers missed the mark by not including one. I will be looking for one to use somehow on my dashboard or my console.
I find the black front grill imposing and not attractive at all. It would be better in a matte silver color.
Interior color choices do not include a mid color. Both the light and the dark show scuffs easily.
Overall, many people might like this car, and I think it’s a beautiful car, but I am very disappointed that I purchased it because of the seating configuration even with all the safety features and other positives. Despite all of the detailed measuring I did to fit 3 car seats across the second row, I can’t use it the way I had planned to, and I find it very disappointing and functionally uncomfortable when having to place 2 car seats in the 3 rd row.
I would love to recommend this vehicle, but could only do so if the 3rd row seating was not needed for car seats unless it was configured with captains chairs. It makes me feel physically ill when I think of the Hugh expense and my equally Hugh disappointment with this purchase for that one reason, which is Hugh for me. I so wish I didn’t feel this way, because it’s a beautiful car and I should be so excited about this purchase, and now I have to live with the feeling of regret for many years to come because of seating configuration is physically uncomfortable for me to use, which I have to. Although the car performs very well and is easy to drive, the cumbersome use of multiple car seats with a bench configuration impacts my experience and rating scores I provided for performance, comfort and fun to drive. Unfortunately this beautiful car does not work well for my needs with the bench seating configuration , and I can’t afford to change it out and will have to live with it for many years.
