Great Potential but Disappointing

In general, I love the car. Love the looks. Engine and transmission are amazingly competent. Car is comfortable. Electronics work well. But, there are drive train gremlins which impact the driving experience. Slack in the drivetrain is a big problem. There are strange noises. Wheels are poorly finished. Car is not pleasant on uneven and rough roads. But, the worst part is your dealer service. My experience, so far, has been disappointing. Easy to buy the car. But, the dealer from which I purchased my car has no clue about the vehicle. They do a good job with scheduled service. But, when I talk about a problem, they cannot understand. I live too far from the dealers to go back and forth. Should have bought another Mazda.

GV80 offers good design, value for money, and easy maintenance.

It is suitable as a car for riding comfortably with family or colleagues in terms of design and performance. Maintenance is not a big issue, and Hyundai or Genesis service is also good. However, its sharpness is ordinary compared to BMW X5, and the gear shift dial has poor grip, so I really hope it gets improved.

What a GREAT vehicle

The safety features on my 2024 GV 80 Prestige are above excellent. The monitoring and safety alerts are outstanding, they react very quickly to keep me out of danger and any serious accidents. Can't say enough about this.

Incredible Vehicle

We purchased the vehicle one year ago and absolutely love it. The ride is incredible quality is awesome and we should’ve done this longer ago. The only negative I would have, is the lack of cupholders around the car.

it is a nice car. looks good.

fuel millage is poor for a 4 cylinder. Ride could be better. Cockpit is just too small for a full grown man. Has a lot of road noise. It does look good and the interior is classy (but cramped). I should have taken a longer test drive.

Beautiful car with way too much cabin noise.

My guess is that someone forgot to put any sound deadening insulation in the entire under carriage. Sounds like a door is ajar, or maybe a window isn't closed tightly. I've had it looked at several times, but to no avail. They all agreed it was noisy, but it ends there. My first GV80 was a 2021. We replaced it with the 24. I don't recall having this much cabin noise with the 21. If nothing can be done to improve the noise quality, I will not buy another one.

Great styling, good comfort, poor transmission, poor navigation, etc

I continue to have a love-hate relationship with this vehicle. I bought the car because of its styling and curb appeal; its beautiful interior and comfortable seating. However, the navigation system is worthless and has gotten me lost at least three times. I don't even use it anymore and rely on my phone. This is after the latest update. The first week I had the car I had to return to the dealer because the rear differential lock nut was bad and was making loud noises. I had to take it in again less than a year ago due to additional noise and it turned out to be a faulty A/C compressor which was replaced. I experienced a lot of wind noise at certain speeds and they had to replace both outside mirrors. The transmission still makes some noise but they have not been able to hear it. I keep wondering what will go wrong next. All this for an $80,000 vehicle!?!?!?! I am not happy...... I have owned both Lexus and BMW cars and have had NO PROBLEMS with either. I thought I would try a Korean model.................big mistake; where's the quality control?

I love it, SO much, minus a few wonky things that just aren't right.

The horn has gone out, TWICE ... and I'm working on getting it in to have it replaced a second time. There is a terrible squeal when moving the driver's seat, which I'm also scheduling to get it in for. And finally, there has been the most annoying whistle/wind noise in the driver's door area that it's been in for SO many times, and never remedied. Like, that's the one thing about this vehicle that has driven me crazy since I bought it.
