Aaron, we’re truly sorry to hear you left our shop feeling disappointed. That’s never our goal, and we understand how stressful car repairs can be, especially when dealing with an unexpected breakdown and budget concerns. We’d like to provide a bit more context to help clarify your visit.

Your 2014 Fiat 500 was brought to us because it stalled while driving through an intersection. You expressed concern that diesel fuel may have been added to your gas engine. Upon inspection, our technician confirmed there was contamination in the fuel. We also found that the engine oil was extremely low, dirty, and more than 2,000 miles overdue for a change. In addition, the coolant level was low and the brake pads were worn down to 3mm. These are serious concerns that affect drivability and safety.

As professionals, our job is to evaluate the vehicle based on the concerns you share, perform diagnostics upon your approval, and then provide you with a digital inspection and a follow-up call to go over our findings and pricing. We never perform work without customer authorization, and every service completed on your vehicle was approved by you.

We sympathize with how unexpected and frustrating repairs like this can be, especially when finances are tight. That said, the condition your vehicle was in when it arrived was the result of pre-existing issues. Our role is not to decide what someone can or cannot afford, but to clearly communicate what the vehicle needs so you can make the best decision for your situation.
