While changing my all season for snow tires recently, I was told my all seasons were still good for the following year and possibly more.
Upon cashing out they told me they were in my trunk and the receipt said this as well. I don’t know about anyone else but I rarely go in my trunk during the winter as I know there are just tires in there.
For whatever reason, two weeks later I went to place some items in my trunk while in downtown Syracuse. To my surprise, there was nothing in there but the bags my tires are stored in. I called immediately in the morning to find out they were closed until the new year…so I left a message.
I called back at the new year and no one knew where these tires were or if they still had them. They said they would check the dumpster as well as the cameras.
I received a call a couple days later telling me I could pick up brand new tires as the dumpster had already been picked up. I explained that it wasn’t necessary for new tires and I had at most one to two years left with those. The owner, John, would not have that and apologized for the confusion and throwing away my tires. He is opening another store and with new techs being hired and training they must have forgotten to put them in my trunk.
He is truly and honest and integrity filled person who doesn’t just promote that but backs it up, even when offered a way to work things out with maybe an oil change and changing my tires out next year on the house. Nope, instead he went out and bought me brand new tires that was much more of a hit than he needed to take.
My sincere thanks to these fine folks and a customer for life.
