Verification of suggested Repairs
I hadn't noticed any of the signs that I needed significant work done, but after a trip to the dealership for an oil change that took two hours and ended with the suggestion of close to $1,500 worth of repairs to be completed on another day. Then I asked for the quotes to be sent, waiting and never receiving, but being concerned about the scare tactic that was used to make me afraid that my axle was about to snap and hinder my vehicle's operation. I was able to get in quickly, have a diagnostic performed and complete the most necessary repairs for a reasonable cost within a day (pick up next day). Bonus, there are really cute doggie mascots hanging around.

An unusual experience
You have been without emotions since it was compact car on the corner of Vassar and Wells 40 or more years ago.
This is the first time that I did not feel like a valued customer. With the acceptance of Shana, communication was poor And I felt like the mechanics did not actually know how to diagnose the problem. I understand that you guys were very busy and short staffed which can certainly account for this. I will still be coming back but I'm hoping that this was an anomaly.

Toyota Sequoia - 2002
On a Friday morning, one fan blade decided to break itself off and sheared off a small section of the fan shroud and poke a hole in the radiator. I’m still fairly new to the area of Reno/ Sparks. And I didn’t know which shop to take my Toyota too. Then I realized that one of my neighbors works at Auto Motion. After a few hours of messaging back and forth, we had a work order filled out. Parts were ordered and delivered on Wednesday morning and my Toyota was delivered to the shop for repairs. That afternoon, when my neighbor gets off work, he was able to drive my Toyota home. I’m amazed how smoothly everything went. I am pleased that my rig is back to being road worthy. I have managed to only drive it about 5 to 10 miles since the repairs and is running smoothly as if nothing happened.

Didn't Visit But Impressed
This place gets good reviews and the person I spoke with was a nice guy and gave me a quote based on VIN which is a very accurate way to price the vehicle service. The price they quoted was less than the Dealership, but seemed a bit much for an exceptionally easy oil change and brake fluid flush. The price was in the high-end of the local ballpark. They followed up to see if I was going to do the service which I appreciate. The place I chose was a bit less expensive and they promote products that match the vehicle manufacturers specs. The other place appeared to do the service on spec with no upsell nonsense. I thought the other place was closer to us, but by pure luck we drove past Automotion only to see it was less than a quarter mile from the place I selected. I would definitely consider Automotion in the future. I have no idea other than software why they asked for a review.

Straight forward visit for oil change and lube. Prompt check-in, refreshments offered while waited a few minutes for a pleasant courtesy drive back to my home during servicing (Peter was great), timely finish and quick check-out. Not surprised, all past visits have been excellent!

Poor service
I’ve had way better services in the past from this company. Weekly updates were normal. Never had a misquoted amount due ever until this year - 2025. The car had a windshield cover in the backseat but nobody used it resulting in a cracked dashboard when my 1987 Jaguar XJ6 was in the shop for over 8 months waiting for a custom made part. What happened to excellent customer service?
