AC Issues
My vehicle was having AC issues. After running for a while, it would stop blowing air. They diagnosed it and had me up and running again in a few hours. The only suggestion or complaint I have is about the cabin filter. I am a severe asthmatic so having a scented cabin filter triggered an attack on the way home. Hopefully the scent dissipates soon. They have earned my business, everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable! Thanks, it will be nice having peace of mind for our upcoming trip.

pricy, took 2 days, window seems to be working properly again.
Was a little taken aback at price point of item, then for the repair to take that long. On a book of 2.5 hrs. I had a shop for 5 yrs and I guess I was more about customer service and letting the customer know what's up n why.

Smith Automotive efficiently discovered mechanical issues with my newly purchased vehicle during their safety check and promptly repaired all defects. They were competent, professional and courteous. If I had not taken my car to Smith Automotive, undiscovered mechanical issues would have become much worse without me knowing about them.

Best, Fastest & most economical service!!!
Scott was extremely helpful, he got my vehicle right in and got back to me immediately regarding my repair. The work was amazing, the pricing was wonderful & Smith's Automotive will be getting ALL of my business in the future. I'm so glad I found this diamond in the rough in Carson!! Best thing to happen was getting referred here. I will gladly refer any and everyone to this shop for their automotive needs!!

Great experience
Had an oil change combined with a coolant flush. They also noticed corrosion on the positive battery cable. Everything was done in the scheduled time and for a reasonable amount. Overall, a great experience. I'm happy to, once more, have a garage to take my car to with confidence.

My experience is great. I needed an oil change in my car before we go on vacation and was accommodated within a couple of days .

2nd repair visit as great as the 1st
My water pump gave out in my old Ford truck.
Smiths was able to quickly schedule, diagnose, procure parts and complete repairs in a timely fashion, despite an anomaly of a new part that did not function properly. They had to perform the labor twice, but did not exceed the original price quoted.
I can drive an older model vehicle with piece of mind that Smiths is a competent shop that is fair in their business practices.

Great service, fair price
Found this shop using ChatGPT. Asked to find a mechanic shop that had a good reputation for quality, knowledgeable service at a fair price. This is what I feel like I got. Car maintenance stresses me out a bit and it’s nice to know there is a local business I can trust to help me maintain my car so I can get as many years as possible out of her. While I only met and spoke with Scott (who was great and made me feel so comfortable bringing my car to you) I’m sure the whole team is great. I’ll be coming here for all my car maintenance needs from now on. I’d rather support a local company.
