Prior to coming in for the service, on several occasions I was told that the turnaround for this service was between 60 to 90 minutes. However, it took around 3 hours to to get my car back.
There was also some discussion whether the car wash was operating or not. Due to recent snow fall, Fittzgerald should have anticipated cars coming into service would be caked with road salt, and in dire need of a good wash, and should have made sure that car wash was operating and that the service managers were all aware of this.. Eventually my car did get washed. However, I wish you could do something to avoid leaving nasty water marks all over the car. I always have to wipe down my car with a damp towel after getting a fitzgeral car wash.
I hope you will take these as constructive comments. In general, I have been satisfied with sales and service at Fitzgerald and I have been a customer since 2012. Pandemic did interfere with service being as good as they were prior to the pandemic and it seems like Fitzgerald has not been able go make a full recovery.
I do appreciate the service managers,. Most of them come across as sincerely interested in helping. The guys that check the car in upon arrival are prompt, courteous and professional. Much appreciated!
Not thrilled with the service charges and labor rates. They have jumped quite a lot since i started dealing with Fitzgerald...way beyond inflation and COLA rates. This is somewhat unnerving for a retiree like me. Is there a retiree or senior discount?

I always received outstanding service from the service manager, Nick, and everyone else at this locat
ion. It also was very convenient to stop there on my way between Sausalito (home) and Sebastopol (frequent trips.) Nick always went out of his way to make sure one's car was working well. I feel like I've lost a friend. I originally bought my car when I lived in San Francisco. That Hyundai dealership closed after a short time. After that, I bounced around between Hyundai in Daly City and Burlingame. Petaluma's car dealership was by far the friendliest and most user-friendly. My car now has 107K miles, and I'm very disappointed that I can't get it serviced at this particular dealership.
