Big improvements but not 100% yet

One of Subaru's new global platforms, the car itself performs very well. It has more interior space versus the previous generation. The interior is better finished with upgraded materials. The ride comfort is much improved, and noticeably quieter as well. It still has sporty handling and the new direct injection 2.0 liter engine is very responsive. I am getting 29 mpg mostly in town driving, haven't had a chance to go on any road trips yet. The main criticism I have is the crazy stereo unit. It seems to have a mind of it's own. It has repeatedly "forgotten" it is paired with my phone. It forgets my "favorites" phone numbers. Even though I have set the preference in the menu for "media auto-play" to "off", often when restarting the car the music starts playing. When you push the "phone" physical button, the music starts playing. You have to repeatedly push the button to get the phone screen to come up on the display. Mine has the eyesight safety equipment and fortunately that has worked perfectly since I bought the car. No complaints there. I'm hoping Subaru will come up with a fix for the stereo. May just need the right software update. I'll continue to enjoy driving the car in the meantime.

My first Subaru

I was skeptical when my husband said we should get a Subaru. I was looking at Jeeps,,Mazda 5s and Nissan Rogues. After reviewing all the specs, values, resale values, Prices. I deduced i wanted a white one. Parker didn't have one, but they did a swap with another dealer about 100 miles away. The car is perfect. Ride noise is pretty good. It's a little zippy too. Did great in up to 5 inches of snow this past winter with factory tires. Wheels are pretty slick too.

Totally redesigned, the 2018 Crosstrek is a dream. It has more leg room in the driver's side, is wider across the cockpit, and the the dash controls are much eaier to access.

Subaru Crosstrek review

My wife and I just purchased our new Crosstrek two weeks ago. I think it’s more fun to drive than my 2014 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. We love the comfortable ride and comfort of the Crosstrek. It’s laid out inside perfectly. Well done Again Subaru. This is our 4th Subaru in our family.

I really haven't taken my brand new 2018 Subaru Crosstrek home yet, but I already love it. I love the color. I traded a 2015 Crosstrek for it and I loved it, so I know I will really like the new one.

Love my Crosstrek!!

This is my second Crosstrek. The improvements they have done on the overall package is wonderful. My 2018 Crosstrek has more power and the road noise has been corrected.

I like the 2018 Crosstrek. I do not like the control on the tires so always drive with that feature off. With all the construction on the roads and lines in different places, I feel it is a hazard to use that .
