Many of the safety features are annoying and impossible to disable.
This is my second Tucson. I have always loved this model for its comfort, features, and fuel efficiency. Unfortunately, this new model has many safety features that on the surface sound like a great idea but, in actuality make the car quite dangerous. The sensors are very sensitive and depending on the driving conditions in your area your car could come to a complete stop on its own because it senses a car merging on to traffic near you. It has happened to me 4 times and I was almost rear ended each time. I took the car to the dealer and they adjusted the sensitivity as best they could but, it continues to happen. I can turn the "Forward Safety" feature off but, there is no way to permanently disable it. I have to turn it off every time I turn on the car. There are several other features that we have issues with but, they just annoying.
