Very new 2025 Hyundai Tucson, only 800+ miles on it

Rating and reviewing this vehicle is not easy. My trade in was a 2015 Kia Soul which was so different. The all wheel drive, eight speed transmission, auto shut off at stops, and other new technical features will take a while to get used to. They are good features, just very different from my older vehicles. Looking forward to taking it on a long road trip soon so I can really determine how it handles.

Not impressive

I traded in my 2022 Hyundai Tucson for a 2025. I loved my 2022 Tucson! I thought trading in it would be better. I was wrong. The 2025 has no pickup. It runs rough and the gas mileage is horrible. I can start at a certain mileage left for gas, drive 4 miles down the road and the mileage left for gas has gone down by 20 miles. The seats are uncomfortable. The speed limit monitor does not stay on as it did in the 2022. It only reflects once you pass a speed limit sign. The air vents are also lower and do not blow at the face.

Dealer and store is not honest for they are customer

Only drive my new car like 1000 miles now many things still need to learn when I got time . But the dealer shop store at 757 N Tyler RD Wichita KS is not been honest with me and manager how to treat customers is terrible I can not respect that and won’t suggest anyone I know spend the money there !

Overall I like and enjoy my vehicle.

I like everything about my vehicle except one thing. My transmission does not function properly. When starting off from a stop or on turning a corner, when the accelerator is pressed, The car will not shift. You can hear the engine rev but the car doesn’t move. After a few seconds the car jerks very hard and shifts and starts to move. Dangerous pulling into traffic. I have also experienced it not shifting to reverse when I pulling out of a parking spot. I have taken it to two different dealerships and they find nothing wrong. I am taking it to an independent repair shop for further inspection. This is not the experience I was expecting from a new vehicle with 2250 miles on it. Especially since I have owned other Hyundais and have not had any problem with them. Which is the biggest reason I returned to Hyundai.
