I don't love this one as much as my 2023

The vehicle is fine, but the ride does not feel as smooth as it did in my previous vehicle.The speaker system is nice and the sleek interior design is nice. The keyless feature upgrades are top tier. It doesn't accelerate as smoothly, there is a noticeable kickback to myself and passengers. The cruise control feature comes with a sensor that monitors your eyes, but it struggles with dark sunglasses and glasses with blue light reduction, meaning you set off the sensor very often. The upgrade wasn't by desire and I wish I'd stuck with a simpler model.

Good car, unfamiliar with set up

I am enjoying my car but feel the dealership did a very poor job to educate me on all the features. The sales person was rushing to get us out the door and apparently Hyundai doesn't have a genius department like BMW does. Disappointed in the delivery experience.

Maximum comfort

This is a very comfortable car, but at the same time it gets fast pretty quick once you start driving. Excellent value for the money.

The message “Consider taking a break” message cannot be disabled

Hyundai has decided to limit my abilities to set my preferences for this vehicle. For some reason, Hyundai thinks they know more about what I like than I do. The best way I can see to handle less is never buying another Hyundai again. And to warn all of my friends, family and anyone else, it will listen.

Great Value But Underpowered

The 2025 Hyundai Tucson is visually pleasing with a lot of technology. The lack of a turbo, power, and the mediocre 28mpg are the biggest flaws in this vehicle.

Enjoying my new Tuscon

This vehicle has a very smooth ride, great acceleration and smooth shifting from gear to gear. A good amount of storage in carry space . I love the built-in phone charger. Biggest negative for me is there's nowhere to put my sunglasses! I'm in the southern US, so almost a year round use sunglasses. My old Sonata had a drop down from the ceiling, that would be easy enough to do with this one and wish it had it.

An Atlantis Blue No So "Compact SUV" Roadster

My Tucson runs smoothly and has adequate acceleration moving out from a stopped position plus for passing other vehicles out on the open road. Gas consumption has averaged 30-32 mpg on local highways and has done as well as 34.7 once. The interior looks and is spacious, especially with the light gray seat fabric. Speaking of the seats, they are borderline firm enough and my SE model lacks lumbar support. The dashboard displays are large and vivid. The windshield is panoramic both in height and side dimensions. The cargo area is spacious and measures nearly six feet long with the back seats folded down. The ride is smooth and adequately firm and the steering is also adequately responsive. The brakes, however, are a little weak and the whole car groans when they are applied firmly in a short stop. One outstanding feature for me is the lane maintainer application. It maintains a steady drive when one's attention drifts or some kind of fidgeting is going on. I would want an audible warning sound when the feature is turned off and the begins to drift over the lines. Also, the lane maintainer works better with painted lines on both sides and drifts a little when there is only a curb or no right side painted line. My Tucson is the base SE model but is well supplied with driving safety features. It does lack some comfort items such as power seat adjustments and a little more seat padding and lumbar support. Since this review doesn't allow for back scrolling, I failed to say that wind noise is minimal.

Surprised! Really like the Tucson.

Before buying the Tucson, I owned a Ford Edge for 14 years, it had a larger motor and was still getting an average of 24 mpg, 31 mpg with the Tucson, but smaller motor. I do not need the power as before. After a little over four months with the Tucson, I'm still learning things that it can do. This was a large purchase for me and I had been looking for about three years for a car. I forced myself into buying, or I would never done it, glad I did. I really like my Hyundai Tucson, got a lot for the buck.

Tucson

Previously owned a Santa Fe Sport but had to trade it in due to the ongoing oil consumption issues that couldn’t be remedied. The Tucson is a little less in features but decent. I do not like the front seat vents, difficult to get airflow in a proper placement and it’s not very strong. No heated steering wheel even though I purchased an upgraded convenience package with sunroof. Have periodic issues with the keyless entry whereas the door doesn’t unlock and have to use my fob. Otherwise it seems to be a decent car.

Few redeeming qualities

Positive points - Headlights are good if ugly. Seats are comfy Negative points Range is rubbish compared to previous generation and constantly having to fill up. Ride isn't as stable as previous generation. The take a break warning on long journeys will drive you insane especially if listening to music. The feature to apply brakes if a car is stopping in front of you is downright dangerous and nearly wrote off the car a few times already, even turned down its so overly sensitive it will lock up the brakes when the car in front is a few car lengths away and in no chance of colliding. You have to work the car hard on hills that the torque should pull the car up easily just to maintain normal speed. The auto speed adjustment cruise you will find slows the car too much if someone is departing the expressway and if you change into the left lane to let it recover it takes ages to.
