The Tucson is a very well built car and we enjoy driving and riding in it. We have a 2023 Palisade and bought the Tucson so we could have the same safety features as that vehicle has on it.

I love my car, but there are some flaws.

Overall, mg car is good on gas and reliable, so I can overlook the other minor issues. The car doesn’t have all the features I was looking for, and the speakers that come with the car aren’t the best. I’ve also had issues recently with the wireless CarPlay. Sometimes it’ll connect, and sometimes it doesn’t. There’s been times where I would drive and the CarPlay would just disappear. I would have to pull to the side of the road to reconnect it. Other times, my lane assist would just stop working.

Eats gas, slow pick up, heating is awful

Car rides nice when it gets going. Comfortable and good visibility. Climate controls are in a bad spot and buttons way too small you really have to take your eyes off the road to see controls. Pick up is slow really need to give yourself room. Driving assist nearly got me killed on a highway. You need to turn it off when you start the car every time. Way too many gadgets. Radio controls are awful. It should just be stations and not options to select before playing.

Roomy car

Car is roomy. Rides nice. Attractive looking car. Driver’s side floor mat is unacceptable. Switching between Car Play screens is cumbersome. Has all of the bells and whistles of a modern car

Tucson

My Tucson is very sleak, comfortable to drive. The large slimline and wide view dashboard is excellent. The only issue is the driver’s assist breaks way too hard to the point where it jerks your back and your passenger even if you’re not really close to the car in front of you.

Love it! But!

I absolutely love my Tucson, but the first year I had it the backup camera had a glitch in it and they never found what was wrong thank God it hasn’t acted weird lately. Also, the Apple CarPlay only works when it wants to. It didn’t work for six months and it suddenly started working again, which is nice I just hope it stays working. I miss it when it’s not working other than that. I love the looks of the car. I love how it drives. I love how it feels sitting in it. I really love everything about it except those two small things I mentioned before it’s a great car. I also wish I would’ve went a little upgrade and got the hybrid.

Fun Drive

Really love this vehicle! Had one in 2022 and decided to get another in 2025. All the features are great. In 2022, I had the SEL model with the Convenience package. This time I only got the SEL model. I wish I had opted again for the Convenience package with this one as well. It has a few more bells and whistles and better seats that I really do miss. And I would add a heated steering wheel. But overall, this is a great vehicle with lots of safety features. And the gas mileage is great as well.

Great vehicle with a few technical glitches

I just purchased this vehicle 2-3 months ago and already having some troubles. They are having to replace a rear radar sensor, which has limited a few safety features. Yesterday my air conditioner went out for about 20 minutes before deciding it wanted to work, and has to be activated every time I start the car. That just started about a week ago. Haven't gotten that checked yet, but my dealership is awesome. I've purchased at least 8 Hyundai vehicles and have loved them all until this one. Wish I had waited and maybe even gone with another Make.
