Even Better Than Expected

Only had it for 3 months so dar but generally very satisfied with amenities and overall performance. The big headline is the superb fuel efficiency. The car is rated at 28/33 MPG but I regularly get 30+ around town and have gotten 40+ on long trips!! The main downside so far is that the audio system is cheap and tinny sounding - pathetic considering today’s audio technology! Also, there is SO MUCH to learn about the operation and computer function. I’m a retired automation engineer and I am profoundly challenged by all of the subtle options. Still have not figured out all the display options. Also, the control panel is dimly lit and poorly laid out. The first night I got it, on the way home I turned on the AC and accidentally turned on the seat warmer with no idea how to turn it off. (Still hit it accidentally all the time but now I know how to cut it off!) A friend had an older model Tucson that drove and rode like a truck. This car handles and rides well and is fun to drive! I would definitely recommend it and would definitely buy it again!!

Problems with 1 month of ownership.

The vehicle has problems and the dealership has not fixed it. Gets way less gas mileage than on the sticker.

After 2600 miles -- outstanding!

Love my new 2026 Hyundai Tucson. However, one VERY annoying thing -- touch screen won't allow me to get rid of Sirius channels I started as "favorites" before my free trial ended. They just STICK 😠. Car itself -- terrific.

Many of the safety features are annoying and impossible to disable.

This is my second Tucson. I have always loved this model for its comfort, features, and fuel efficiency. Unfortunately, this new model has many safety features that on the surface sound like a great idea but, in actuality make the car quite dangerous. The sensors are very sensitive and depending on the driving conditions in your area your car could come to a complete stop on its own because it senses a car merging on to traffic near you. It has happened to me 4 times and I was almost rear ended each time. I took the car to the dealer and they adjusted the sensitivity as best they could but, it continues to happen. I can turn the "Forward Safety" feature off but, there is no way to permanently disable it. I have to turn it off every time I turn on the car. There are several other features that we have issues with but, they just annoying.

Great car loaded with features fun to drive

I love all the technology in the car, the roominess and all the safety features, It has a smooth ride, adequate acceleration and room in the front for taller people. Ther 2nd row seats are a bit cramped, however again I am a taller person, so I have the front seats all the way back. Sound system (Bose) is ok, not awesome. I would have expected a much "bigger", richer sound. The information on the display windows is outstanding, as is the map screen. The heads up display in great, but not during the daytime in bright sun, you can hardly see it. The one irritation is the fingerprint verification login located on the left side of the vehicle. It rarely works, so you are required to enter a 4 digit password. I would recommend this vehicle and look forward to many years of driving pleasure
