2025 Hyundai Tucson

This vehicle is awesome, it has all the options that I didn’t even know existed. It is fun to drive especially with drive assist. The only problem we have remembering what everything does and how to use them , like the getting the windshield wipers in a position to clean under them.

I have less than 3000 miles on my Tucson, but so far very happy.

So far I am happy with the Tucson, its performance, economy and comfort. Getting use to the driver assist features. Caught off guard a couple of times. Need to read the manual.

Ride could be smoother. Dials on arm rest needs covering because your arm or hand touch the buttons and change the modes. Steering wheel should be able to move up higher. Sideview mirrors should be able to move inwardly. Trunk does not open the way you specify (walking or standing by it to open), did it once and I could not get it to open again; and driver's door lock does not lock all the time when applying the handle. Love the way it handles; the tunk space; especially the car being able to move out tight spots by itself, [had to use that feature a few times]; roomy leg room in back love the controls on steering wheel and dashboard.

Fun & Trustworthy

I was given a Hyundai Tuscon to drive while my car was being repaired from an accident and I pretty much instantly fell in love with it! I feel so safe/secure in it as I drive with all the safety features, and having the large map to see for directions as I drive is great. Even my husband likes to drive it (and he's tall and fits in) and he loves the ride. We are totally happy with our purchase!

Vehicle shut down

When approaching another vehicle and the Tucson senses an accident might occur it shuts the vehicle down. This almost caused the vehicle behind me to hit the Tucson. I could've avoided that if I could move another direction or move up a little but the vehicle shuts down. That is dangerous, the sensors are good to have but not to shut the vehicle down. Also water drips from Sunroof in the car wash.

First time user and it's a great experience

Needs a few, but simple upgrades. I love the car and previously purchased only high end SUV's. My other cars have the upgrades I've listed under coms. The upgrades not in the car that I wanted are not available in the TUCSON, and the next higher Hyundai SUV, too large.

Tuiscon

The Tuscon is a decent car but I take issue with a couple of things. 1. Forward Attention Warning (FAW). This can be turned off but will automatically turn back un unbeknownst to you if you use cruise control. Imagine going 80 mph in bumper to bumper traffic and FAW shuts the car down. It will happen if you drive without the sensor seeing your eyes. VERY DANGEOUS!!! Happened to me. 2.The infotainment center is quite impressive looking at it but it has the worst interface of any system I have seen. Used the system but maps was difficult to use and Sirus XM would not tell us Artist or song. Also I was unable to change colors and it was difficult to see. Had the dealer set up Apple car play. Works fine using Apple until you do not want to hook up your phone and use carplay. It then becomes an absolute nightmare to even try to Sirius XM to play without using Apple car play. I finally gave up. This is just the tip of the iceberg about what I do not like about the infotainment center. 3. Do not kick the car into passing gear on a busy highway as the transmission will not downshift after letting up on accelerator for longer than it should take. The car will wind out in very high RPM for what seems like 10 seconds.

There is infrared in-cabin camera that determines whether the driver is focused on the road to help prevent distracted driving by giving an audible warning and warning light. It may not operate properly if driver is wearing polarized sunglasses or if eyes are covered by hair or hat which could turn off cruise control even thought the Forward Attention Warning is turned off.
