Tucson HEV is a Fun Drive

I've been really pleased with my Tucson Limited Hybrid. Mileage has been great; I'm running somewhere between 35-37 mpg daily in-city driving. After cross shopping everything in the segment, I decided on the Tucson. The Limited has just about every feature you'd need (some that weren't on top trim competitors). Overall it's a very smooth ride. Handling has been great and there's plenty of room for 4 adults to ride comfortably. So far, it's been a great purchase.

It’s a lease vehicle

I’ve had six years of the Santa Fe, which drove like a dream. I now have the Tucson it does not drive as smooth as the old Santa Fe. There’s not enough room in the trunk area. If you have multiple things back there like you had in the Santa Fe it’s definitely a smaller car different ride.

Start/Stop Makes Car Undriveable

Everything on this car has been great, until the engine Start/Stop system goes haywire. Once the Start/Stop function malfunctions, the car will not accelerate until you go beyond 2,000 rpm. This is very dangerous as there's no warning before the engine Start/Stop breaks.

So far my 2025 is a dream car. All around so much better than my 2024. Reliability is most important to me and I feel like I've found it. Nice looking, easy to work the dashboard, good sound system and roomy.
