Good car

The Sonata is a good car. I have less than 3,000 miles so far, but a few things not up to snuff. One, wipers barely lift off the windshield and they collect everything causing streaking when on and difficult to clean. The transmission need work as well, frequently does not respond well when trying to accelerate - tachometer shows engine revving but car not accelerating accordingly. The control panel display is larger than previous models, but of less use. Previously, (on smaller screen) you could get all info on music playing, now I get only some on a very small portion of the screen, while majority of the screen useless.

Excellent car for teens and cautious drivers

I bought this car specifically for the safety features and my family has owned other Hyundai vehicles in the past and they hold up pretty well! There are only a few things I wish my vehicle had; like, ambient lighting in the interior and rear audio when reversing. But I can add those for an extra cost. The car runs smoothly and I get many compliments on its looks.

Great - but needs parking sensors.

The Hyundai Sonata N line is a great car. However, one thing it’s lacking are parking sensors. You have adaptive cruise control and rear collision warnings but you can’t add a simple sensor. Cars that cost much cheaper than this car have parking sensors. In my opinion, it should be standard today.

Nice

I enjoy the car. Love that it’s turbo like the sound system believe it or not. The only thing that was almost a dealbreaker for me was you did away with the heated steering wheel.

Sharp Ride

This Sonata has every. Two small problems: the transmission jerks when it initially shifts at start up; I can't lock my key FOB in the trunk when I can't take my purse also the trunk sometimes opens if I don't walk quickly passed to enter the car. I really like the styling and many electronic features.I wish the GPS didn't connect to my phone since I don't always have my phone with me.
