Happy, but, not happy!!!

Even though it's a sonata SEL just like my previous car it doesn't seem to ride or be as hefty as my 2023 sonata. I don't like the center console the console compartment was moved back and made smaller, it's harder to reach, also don't like the small accessory touch screen. It distracts you from driving if you want to change any other settings. It was my fault for not noticing the vehicle misgivings I was just so happy to get the great lease deal.

Computer electrical and control.... hmmm

Nice car, too much tech, too much battery pull if it sits idle, I was advised to run it every 3-4 days as the computer drains the battery with out being used. Like the handling, fuel economy and power when needed.

Is it better than the 2020-2023?

Excellent value in a limited field of (nearly) full size cars. The curvy body lines are the same as 2020-23, but the front and rear treatment looks mismatched, like square pegs in round holes (not a fan of the LEGO look). Also not a fan of the higher option wheels. I don't like the digital gauges with no scale to the dial and switched sides of the tachometer and speedometer.

Wonderful Car...only minor criticism is that occasionaly in traffic/slower speeds the car will get stuck in 4th gear in which case I use the paddle shifters to upshift

Love the 2025 Sonata!

This 2025 Sonata has a smooth and great ride, the seats are very confortable, the heated seats in my model are terrific, the safety features are enhanced and the radio has beautiful and high quality sound. This is my 3rd Sonata that I have owned and the upgrades are both notable and excellent!

2025 Hyundai Sonata SEL Ownership Summary

Nice car and fun to drive great gas mileage, comfortable, enjoy the technology etc. Happy that I have this vehicle 🚗 compared to the Volkswagen ID.4 which had very bad mileage, the interior cheap looking will never deal with them again period.

Good but limitations

Ride, handling, and vehicle control are very good. Heating and cooling are very good. Infotainment system is very bad. Gas mileage is bad.
