Santa Fe Calligraphy Black out with light interior

Traded in my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L that was 7k sticker price higher than the sticker price on my 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy. Both vehicles I liked but the extra features on the Santa Fe can not be beat along with the better gas mileage. Sure the Jeep had a Penstar V6 verses the Santa Fe Turbo 4 but I can not tell a difference in my daily driving. Never pulled anything bigger than a small utility trailer with three Kayaks on it. Both vehicles towed it with out any noticeable difference. Both handle severe snow the same but like the safety features of the Santa Fe better. I do like the interior look and feel of the Santa Fe the best. Both had the 4 captains chairs and third row bench in leather. I have been super pleased with the Santa Fe in the 5 months that I have owned it. Would recommend to anyone looking for a luxury family SUV without the sticker price shock.

Repairs started at 2000 miles

I had hoped for better and I understand cars can come with defects, but this entire experience from purchase at the Auto-nation Hyundai dealership to Hyundai Financing and Hyundai's way of handling warranty repairs has made it that I cannot recommend anyone buy their products.

Engine light

Brand new vehicle should not have an engine light!! They said that it could be the gas tank cap that had air in it reset it and the light came back on very upsetting for a brand new car to have the engine light on like there’s something wrong with the transmission or something

Great SUV!

Great car overall! I gave it a 4 because I am short and I don’t like having to move my seat all the way to the windshield to reach the pedals and be comfortable for long distance driving. I wish the pedals adjusted. The cruise control is a little annoying as well with the sensors however I think I can turn that feature off. Just haven’t figured it out yet. Other than that I love it, I love the multiple features, the rugged exterior, the smooth drive, the spacious interior. I love that the back seats (2nd row) move forward and backward and recline. I love the 3rd row seats and the ease of putting the up and down. I love that it is large but fits in the garage. I definitely recommend!

Poor mileage, poor interior design

I'm barely getting 20 mpg in the city. The overall design is poor. USB c ports charge devices intermediate and sometimes not at all. User interface isn't really customized to personal liking.
