Complaint
I had my vehicle into the dealer at less than 13,000 miles for an oil change. (2023 Hyundai Santa Fe) I asked them to check a problem that occurs when the vehicle is in reverse. The engine hesitates and jerks like it is not getting gas. They wanted $189.00 to diagnosis the problem. I purchased this vehicle due to the warranty which I thought was superior. I am disappointed in Jenkins Hyundai and the Hyundai warranty that does not stand up to low mileage on a vehicle not performing properly. I understand that if the vehicle was older and high mileage there would be a fee to diagnosis. But, I buy a new vehicle for the warranty and service which I feel I did not get. Therefore, I will not be dealing with Jenkins or buying another Hyundai (this is my second one in four years).
