Brand new with a lot of issues already

I bought my 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid, limited edition and it arrived with a seat damaged. It took a while. It’s a dealership for them to fix anything. Finally got it done after having a rental car for a few days. Now my front seat doesn’t move at all or React to any settings. My dash screen also will turn off and say no signal. It’s very frustrating to spend this much money on a brand new car for it to not work perfectly. I also have to waste a lot of time trying to set up appointments to get my car fixed when I’m very busy with work and most aren’t open on weekends. I wanted to love it but I feel I got a very expensive lemon.

Love the extra room and gas mileage!

I love my new Sante Fe Hybrid! I don’t often get 36mpg but I usually get around 30. I learned recently that if you follow the speed limit suggestions, you will get better gas mileage. I’m really happy with all the extra features and the comfort while driving. It’s my favorite vehicle I’ve ever owned.

Just right

We went from a Toyota Grand Highlander to the Santa Fe HEV. The GH was not getting even close to good or advertised gas mileage. My partner works only about 2 miles from home, and was averaging 16MPG! When we made the decision to switch, we decided to go all out. We went with the beautiful Calligraphy edition HEV. Now, we do not have to spend a fraction on gas as we were with the Toyota. The added luxury of the Calligraphy edition, is certainly a huge plus!

Been a great vehicle so far

Only complaint is when I first take off in the mornings, the transmission feels like its slipping gears and the Hybrid Battery system charge drops from half to one quarter instantly which is baffling to me.

A fun hybrid SUV that is stylish no matter the angle

A SUV that priorities fuel economy and comfort. The only down side is the minimal distance you can drive on fully electric, and the ride height seems to be lower for taller individuals.

Roomy, modern, and comfortable hybrid SUV for the family.

I've really enjoyed owning the Santa Fe Hybrid for these past 5 months. I have zero regrets in my purchase decision. It's proven to be a comfortable ride for my work commutes and for weekend driving with the family. I've really enjoyed the fuel economy in my first hybrid vehicle, as that's something I was looking for since I drive quite a bit. Less money on gas and less time at the gas station. My only complaint thus far is that the wireless charging mobile phone pad stopped working and the dealership is telling me they need to keep the vehicle multiple days to address the issue. I also don't have clarification on whether the manufacturer warranty will cover the repair.

Try it you will like it

This is a good engineering design, solid mechanical stuff combined with some very nice high tech software. Lane keeping is phenomenal, with multiple settings:aggressive/light/off. It works very well, as do the rest of a very robust set of electronic features. The Hybrid brake recharge/engine combination is seamless as it switches. 30+mpg on the highway is realistic. Great travel vehicle for 2-4 people. Hyundai today is worth taking a look, and long test drive.

Overall, the car is great. It is a smooth ride and has all the features that wanted. The MAJOR draw back - and why it gets four stars - is because of the cruise control. They eyes on the road features is HORRIBLE. If I am wearing sun glasses or a hat (which I am usually wearing one or the other), it does not recognize me and if actually have to move my head around to make it recognize me. There is no way to turn it off! The other too smart for its own good features is wrong way driving, which does not work in a parking lot. Nice car, I like it but the tech needs to be improved.
