Impressively capable, but needs a hybrid option and more accessories

The 2025 has a great interior compared to previous years and lots of features coming in at an attractive price point. But It really needs a plugin hybrid engine like the maverick! Mm currently leasing a 2025 and I'm hoping I can trade for a hybrid soon if Hyundai Comes out with one. I think it also needs more aggressive front styling; it looks too smooth and not sporty enough like a Baja or Chevy Colorado. I like that it has a really simple inline 4 engine and torque converter transmission which gives me confidence that the car will last a long time. Hyundai's reputation on electric component failures is my only worry about it's longivity. It needs more options from Hyundai though, like more customizability since it has an abnormal size bed that's hard to find racks for, and that's something I'd need if I ever want to go skiing since Hyundai won't let me add a roof rack when the rails weren't installed by the factory.

like the car except the AI and spy system.

so far 7000 miles ok have worries about duel wet clutch transmission can't get the turbo with a normal transmission? A manual would be awesome. Be able to turn off the driver monitor system it is VERY annoying!

Nearly Perfect

We've owned our Santa Cruz for a few months now and overall it's been a pleasure to own. It drives very smoothly and has plenty of speed when needed. A few setbacks are: the smoke look to the chrome on the front bumper chips easily. The driver seat has wrinkles in the leather in one corner already. And the doors don't easily swing closed. There's been occasional tech/screen glitches almost as if the system is rebooting mid-driving which is quite scary. But it doesn't happen often and recovers within seconds.

2025 Santa Cruz

Bluelink doesn't work and when trying to get the issue fixed have had to miss work because of it. Still havent had the issue fixed. Have done everything that bluelink has asked. Tried to have it serviced for the head unit but when dealing with the customer services person and explaining that this vehical is my only transportation they didn't car and offered me a ride home but couldn't give a loaner car till the issues is fixed. Would recommend hyundai of fort myers at all.

Good so far

5 months and 5000miles. Only design flaw Is not being able to lock doors when exiting from inside.30 years as a Mercedes shop Forman I know it would require key location sensors, and then the cost goes up.seems solid, well put together. On creaks or rattles, that is appreciated !

Such a great combo of truck and car

I love the convenience of the truck bed, but still seems like I'm driving my old tuscon. The interior is so comfortable yet all the features of a tryck. The new sage Grey color is so different.
