Great little crossover truck

Multi-utility vehicle with Car MPG

Overall a great small truck with good MPG for both city and hwy mileage. Plenty of bed storage for most loads you would do with a typical home use pickup without the hit to the bank with gas mileage. Plenty of power for the hwy and off-road. The option to 4x4 lock is a pleasant feature with the part time awd. Interior is soft and form fitting to my 6'6" frame, with minimal loss to legroom in the rear. Only issue is the transmission issues with towing, not reportedly reliable.

Within a month multiple issues

Within a month I have had multiple issues.Just bought the vehicle May 2025. While driving on the highway the truck started shaking aggressively and even more so when I gave it gas. Then the engine light and crash light came on. I pulled off to a gas station, while there my backup cameras didn’t work or any other camera. Just a green screen, a week later took it to a dealership just for them to say they can’t do anything because they’re backed up and I had to keep the car with them for a three days before they could even look at it. Didn’t have the capability to do that. Now just waiting for an optimal time to take it because of work so I just have to deal with it. The shaking has stopped by the camera still goes in and out.

Overall a complete disappointment.

The Blue link has never worked and has taken months to repair. Awaiting replacement hopefully this week. The towing ability is non-existent. The vehicle is not able to tow. There is no available towing wiring harness. The owner's manual, online Hyundai videos and the dealership all ,lied. This vehicle is not able to tow anything.

great mid size truck

a wonderful solution for me, in which I only do light hauling. I have the limited version, which I do wish the interior were closer to a calligraphy line. The vehicle fits in the garage nicely and has a very smooth ride.

A true utility vehicle

What I believe is important about the Hyundai Sant Cruz XRT I purchased a mere five months ago is that it is a true utility vehicle for any family, outdoorsman, off or on-road use. While it would take some time to go over all the attributes that make this vehicle the amazing truck it is, all you need to know is that you can tow a boat, put a tent on top and sleep in it, drive 4-5 people to a baseball game with full equipment, carry supplies for home improvement, or go off-roading just about anywhere except the extreme. It is the everything truck and I am happy I bought it. Couple that with the fact I'll basically never have to worry about repairs because of the amazing warranty and we have a winner.
