The Palisade is a great vehicle for those who need a spacious interier

The main characteristics I like are the spacious amount of interior, the size of the display, and the electronic controls. We took advantage of the included plastic floor mats as it rained for several days after we first got the vehicle.

Not loving it

For a family car it's missing a lot of features that moms need. The back doors should be able to unlock with the keys in my purse like the front doors do. The mirrors should fold in when the car is locked. It would be nice if the AC vents were bigger in the back for the kids. The paint chips on the bumper like CRAZY because theres no bumper cover and every time a stroller or anything gets put in the back my paint chips. I've had the car like 3 months and have like 10 chips in my bumper paint. Speakers aren't great. Wish my seat AC settings saved.

Great Value, But Consider the Santa Fe

Test drove a Sante Fe during the service of my Equus. Because the Palasades is larger, I went with that. Larger but not better. Car play is not wireless, no double sun roof, no coat hanger. Basic stuff that my Equus had and the Sante fe, but not the Palasades

First car I've really loved!

Granted I'm a mom and have been driving a minivan for 15+ years, but this is a really nice ride. It feels solid, drives quietly, is very comfortable, and has more than I'd expect for an "average" model.

Infotainment system is disappointing

The core of the vehicle is good. Maybe even great. The native infotainment software is not. That I cannot wirelessly link my phone to the system in order to access Apple Carplay is an awful step backwards for the driver experience. That the USB connection to the system is unreliable and severs at the slightest jostle adds insult to injury. I little part of me dies every time I need to plug my phone in to my 2025, when no such plug is required in my 2021. Whatever Hyundai was optimizing for when it decided to remove the wireless connection to Apple Carplay, it could not have been the customer experience. I will not be purchasing another Hyundai until this is resolved. If you want to hire a real Product Manager look me up.

2025 Palisade SEL

Lot's of interior room, comfortable seats, quiet cabin, electronics are over whelming, but we will learn. Fuel mileage could be better or a hybrid option would have been nice. Mostly used around town and a few day trips. We look forward to hitting the road this summer with coolers and suitcases. Over all it's great, just lacking in the fuel mileage. Only have about 1,900 miles on it.

nice vehicle would like to see a few changes

Quite a change to get used to the buttons on the steering wheel, Hard to tell what button does what and I know that learning just takes place over time. Would like to see a sunglass holder built into the console area controlling the sunroof. Need to brighten the lights on the accessories like the auto turnoff button,
