Top of the Line, For Hyundai

I bought the 2025 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy Night Edition. This is the top of the line of this vehicle however, I have found that top of the line for Hyundai is very different from its competitors like Kia, Honda, and Toyota. I'm not comparing to any high end cars like Lexus, Acura, or Mercedes. First off, the Suede seats on this car get dirty fast. We have found that we need to keep a lint roller in the car to keep the seats from getting to dirty. I'm also not a fan that this car doesn't have retractable side view mirrors when the vehicle is turned off and locked. (The Kia Telluride has this feature). The remote movement of the vehicle from the key fob is not great. I find myself cramping my fingers when using it. We are not a fan of the combined Doorlock/Window lock button on the drivers side door. I would prefer the old way of just locking the door from the side of the door itself to prevent children from opening. I also dont like that I can't unlock the doors from all the doors of the car. Only the front doors have the ability to put your hand in the handle and unlock. Wireless CarPlay seems to be standard in all cars nowadays and this car doesn't have it. Not a big deal to me as I am wired user for most everything but still a miss. Even after all of that, the worst part is the paint job. After 7500 miles on the vehicle, the car is already missing paint from what I'm assuming is debris from the road. The grill is also now missing its black color and there are spots and lines of white where the paint has scratched off. I also hate the fact that this car only came in Black or White. I would have definitely done a different color if it was offered.

Palisade

We love our new Palisade but after using the AC only 3 times, there’s already an issue. We’ve had the SUV 4 months. Had a Kia before this that was always in the shop, and we were leary about going with Hyundai because of that. Hope this isn’t the start of a repeat of what we experienced the last time. Other then that, drives great, roomy, kids love it.

Overall, I really like my Hyundai Palisade

I enjoy all the features this vehicle offers. It is beautiful inside and out. There are a few things that I think could improve it however. There is no where to put my sunglasses. They have to go beside the cupholder because the drop down sunglass holder is now a mirror. The wireless charging station is half under the console near the cupholder, but when my sunglasses or keys, or anything else I need to put there is there, I have to move things around in order to charge my phone. The cooling seat option is nice, but when its really hot outside, like it is where I live, the highest setting isnt enough to make a difference. Other than those design issues and the cooling seat option, I am very very happy with my palisade. The inside is beautiful , I love the color and the inside is very comfortable and roomy.

I went from the basic 2006 Hyundai Entourage to the 2025 Calligraphy Palisade and it has exceeded my expectations. It is luxurious, handles well, and has more features than I know what to do with.

2020 Palisade SEL vs 2025 Palisade SEL Premium

the upgrade has nice features. It is a little harder to learn how to use them and some of the features work differently than they did before so it took a little time to get used to them. The two things that I did not like in the 2025 are that the third row seats do not have the power buttons to put them up/down (standard feature in the 2020 SEL) and that they still did not put a handle on the driver side about the door to aid in getting in and out of the vehicle.

Very well equipped car for the money with minor flaw

Our 2025 Palisade is our second because we loved our 2020. It is very similar in style with some safety improvements. But the automatic lane assist has taken a step backwards.

Grand Highlander Killer

just as roomy as the GH on the inside; extremely comfortable, even rivaling luxury sedans, nice power, quiet, good infortainment system, updated exterior, good lines. This is very close twin the GH, except it costs about $ 5000 LESS.
