I have only owned this vehicle a few months and driven it 750 miles.
I would give it a 5 for everything about this vehicle as it is intended to be; however, I give it a 1 for what will happen to this vehicle over the next few years (see below for explaination). Hense the avarage rating is a 3. Hyundai does not have a good color choice when it comes to palisades, so I chose white. Now that I have purchased it, I am regretting my choice...not only the color but in the Hyundai vehicle itself. Based on what I have read and seen on social media, the white palisades are peeling. Additionally, I have seen many complaints of oil leaking, chipping of interior parts, paint coming off of the front grill/handles, and transmissions that need replaiced--often more than ondce! I purchased this car not only for its tech and safety but also for the stylish, beautiful car that it is. Peeling paint and all those major issues ARE NOT ok with me. The pictures posted online of peeling paint is horrifying to me. Brand new Palisades with visual and functional issues. I am retired, single and this is my only car. To know that it will be spending much time at the dealiership for major repairs does not set well with me at all--even if it is covered under a warranty. With all of these issues looming in my future, I have come to realize that I made a bad choice in purchasing this vehicle. Knowing all this is in my future, I will be looking to trade this vehicle in for a different make/model and will NOT be returning to Hyundai. Furthermore, I will share my knowledge with my friends/family and encourage them NOT to purchase a Hyundai. I am heartbroken. I loved my 2020 Palisade Limited. I love my 2025 white Palisade Calligraphy, but only for what it could/should have been...
The ratings below are on my 10 week experience of minimal driving.
