Love everything but the smell

I had a 2023 palisade and had no issues with smell. Loved it so much I traded it in for the 2025. I love everything about the way it drives but there’s an odor that we can’t get to go away. It was brand new but yet had 80 miles on it somehow. I hope nothing happened but it’s this constant strong smell that even after airing it out, leaving windows down, it still smells 2-3 mo later. I took it to the dealership and they didn’t even try to find a cause. I switched out the air filters and bombed it. Had it detailed. The smell went away for like two days and now it’s back. It lingers on our clothing after we’ve been in the car longer than an hour. Not sure if it’s the leather or what but it’s making me want to get something else.

New Car - Less Features

Did a trade-in for what was supposed to be the exact same car - but apparently they've removed many features and put them in a new version of the Palisade. Some features in this version simply don't work well at all anymore.

Mostly excellent, needs a bigger engine, a power tilt steering wheel, and a trailer hitch that doesn't cost a thousand dollars or more. Also, the dealer needs to fill all of the fluid levels (like windshield washer fluid).

I love my new Palisade. It's comfortable, very well made, and the interior materials used are of very high quality. The infotainment, although loaded with features, is very intuitive and easy to learn. My Caligraphy is loaded with features and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

Great safety and comfort features.

Upon renting a Hyundai Santa Fe, I feel absolutely in love with all of the safety features. The blinker cameras had me hooked immediately! About two weeks after returning from vacation I began researching mid size SUV's with blinker cameras. I decided against the Kia Telluride, even though it is highly rated, due to the poor performance of our local dealership. I truly do not care for the front end of the 2025 Santa Fe. Since the Palisades always comes up highly rated, the search was on for a good deal. Bay Hyundai won me over!

Beautiful car

We traded in a 2015 Santa Fe Ultimate for this car. The difference is pretty incredible. This car feels like luxury from the interior lights to the 3.8L V-6. I was not impressed with the 2.0L turbo 4cyl engine in the Santa Fe. The 6cyl in this has a much better power flow from idle to full throttle, no lag like in the 4cyl. We had a 2007 Santa Fe with the 3.5L V6 and missed it a lot. We had that vehicle for 12 years. This Palisade is the Calligraphy line which is quite nice. All around we are very happy and feel confident we will remain so. This is our 4th Hyundai and we are very happy as a Hyundai customer.

Very nice car. Comfortable. There are a few things I miss from Lexus days..sunglass holder, folding side mirrors The technology is somewhat challenging..I'm sure I havent figured it all out.

An otherwise good vehicle overshadowed by misguided electonics

The otherwise positive aspects of this vehicle are overshadowed by some very misguided decisions about certain systems. There is a “Consider Taking A Break” message that activates for about 4 seconds along w/ chimes for any number of absurd reasons Hyundai thought were important. This message comes on every 6-10 minutes. I actually consider it a safety hazard as it is distracting when you may be in a situation requiring you to not be distracted. You can not disable it. Hyundai thought it was wise to not allow the driver to have regular cruise control. Only option is adaptive cruise control. I personally hate adaptive cruise control. No power on USB ports in driver area. So I don’t have the option of NOT using Apple Car Play w/ phone plugged in. Small point, but super annoying, are the cup holders. They are so deep A 16 oz to-go styro cup is difficult to retrieve from the holder. The center console lid is in the way of the aft cup holder.
