After a year, I still love my Kona. The handling is tight and the 1.6T engine and 8-speed auto transmission smooth as silk. I see no reason at this point that if you take care of this engine, don’t abuse it and have regular maintenance performed that this vehicle wouldn’t last many many years of driving enjoyment.

Just what I expected

The Kona is just the latest is a string of Hyundais that I/we have owned (and part of the reason we chose the Kona). We chose the SEL because it it an infrequently used secondary vehicle for our household, but the interior options and appointments are very satisfactory.

great car nice handling pic up (passing speed ) a little slow, heating takes a long time to heat car. a nice thing to add would be side mirrors defrost .
