My second CR-V

I loved my 2006 until it was in an accident. I tried to find another of that year but couldn’t. It too me awhile to get used to the 2008 looks but now I like it. The only thing I don’t liked is the shift knob next to my knee. On long trips it hurts my knee so I had to fasten a pad on the shifter column. I’m also sorry the CD player stopped working because I have a large collection of CDs, but I’m glad I could hook up a portable CD player in the auxiliary input It has lots of power when I need it going up hills or getting on the freeway etc. Great gas mileage on long trips also.

Great Vehicle...Super Relaible!

Very reliable, great gas mileage...what more could I ask? I recommend it to all of my friends. Great vehicle for a young driver because of how safe it is and a Super Vehicle for a more mature driver because of its reliability.

Not worth price

Cost $6000, had more than $4000 of hidden major problems (plus many small ones), worth $3000 in good condition per blue book. I like the cat but not the seller (bmvw cars) or the multitude of problems.

2008 CRV still runs like new

With 180,000 miles, my CRV runs as well as when I bought it! That’s the reason we all drive Hondas. Reliable and high quality. Has driven through many snow storms and across many states. Will probably outlast me!

My Honda review

Very reliable car and I take really good care of it. Auto has a good paint job and looks new all the time people tell me. reasonable gas mileage high 20's. always starts and runs smoothly. Handles well because I don't push beyond capabilities.

Reliable, lots of space

I'm a bowler so being able to pack all of my equipment into the CR-V, is perfect. Lots of space, reliable, as long as you keep up with the routine maintenance. If i have to get another car/SUV, it would definitely be a Honda brand vehicle

My crv has been a reliable vehicle. It works great as a substitute truck for hauling some moderate and small sized articles inside and some longer articles on the roof. It handles nicely with or without a load.The gas mileage is reasonable

2008 Honda CRV

Purchased my car new, off the Northwest Honda Iowa Street lot; Guy was the salesman. It was a great experience. I love my car! Two engineering/body changes suggested: 1. Loud road noise over 40-mph; undercarriage needs to be reconfigured to quiet the ride; conversation is difficult to hear at 50-mph-and above. 2. The hood and rear are rounded; when parking it is hard to gauge distance for curb and cars parked in front and back of you. I’m noticing a trend of new cars/trucks coming back with the flat squared off hoods and rear... obviously I am in good company with this suggestion!?

Honda CRV

Not sure that I can say anything that would better describe my feelings for this car better than my actions. We bought a brand new CXRV earlier this year, in the same color as this car. Honda has learned what people need and want in their cars, and I'm not sure I could ever be persuaded to switch back to another brand.

Dependable...but

Vehicle is dependable but the air conditioning compressor is a fault that seems to go out on all of them. You can't ignore it or it will get worse and make the car undriveable when the pulley starts to lock up. Know of three people driving them on the road at the moment and all have had this same issue. It's a $1500 - $2,000 fix and has been known to go bad repeatedly in the same vehicle. There is no recall for this issue. Other than that flaw the vehicle has been completely reliable and just needed to perform regular oil changes and it's a start and go vehicle. Gets good gas mileage (roughly 28 mpg highway and roughly 20 city). No frills but dependable.

Honda CRV - Great car

I bought the 2008 CRV in 2015 from a friend who was entering a senior facility in another state. It was bought to stay in Florida year round for use in winter while I am here. I am most pleased with its handling, low maintenance and overall appearance. Even though it is 11 years old, it is hardly discernible from a newer one. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Our Honda CR-V is over ten years old and it has been trouble free for all of those ten years, which is longest time we have owned a single vehicle. It has outlasted any car we have ever owned, what more could we ask for in a vehicle.

2008 Honda CRV

I love my Honda CRV. With 112K miles, it still runs like a champ. I can fold down the seats for transporting bigger cargo and my back passengers feel like they have plenty of legroom and head space. I only wish it had a rear video screen or sensor, as it’s difficult to see out the back when backing up.

I Love This Car

I have never had a car before that I could say I love, but this one I can. It is very comfortable, versatile and dependable. Although my CR-V was ten years old when I purchased it from my brother, it rides and feels like a brand new car. I'm sure I will enjoy it for many years to come.

Love it!

This is my second Honda CRV and it's the best most reliable car I have owned. I keep up with regular oil changes. The size is great. Not too big and not too small and great trunk space. Very few mechanical problems.

Love my car.- its sporty looking and so easy to get into and out of. Like the shift on the console.

Car has not needed repairs since I bought it used over 4 years ago. Love the height and the sporty feel. Not as good on mileage as I was told it would get by the dealer. IF I needed a different car, I would buy another Honda. I would never buy a new car as is too expensive.

Nice SUV

There's a reason you see so many CR-V's on the road. They look nice, are reliable, and they a nice size. They aren't gigantic like some SUV's, but you sit higher than in a car, which I like, both for visibility and because low seats are hard for me to get in and out of because of my arthritis.

Honda CRV

Bought it used so it came with issues like a fender bender throwing the left headlight out of specs, but CarFax report was negative. Left rear was also repaired and painted. Car had no amplifier for the radio so an additional expense and now it blows fuses so not operable. Overall I love the car and would consider a newer model.
