Nice car BUT fix the steering wheel camera!

Great car; rides will; looks great; nice features EXCEPT you MUST fix the issue of the steering wheel camera that keeps shutting off the cruise control when I wear sunglasses. Yes, I’ve switched to non-polarized. Yes, I’ve moved around to make sure my face is in the sun (when possible) although that’s a very stupid solution. The whole point of wearing sunglasses when you drive is to shield you from the bright sun. Please, please, please fix this!

Great vehicle but paint it already chipping with first few months

Love the technology Navigation never finds the fastest way- so I use google maps or Waze more often Love the look of the car The drive is super smooth Disappointing to have multiple areas on the car chipping - paint within the first 6 months

Finest Luxury SUV for the money.

BMW, Mercedes nor Lexus has anything on the GV 80 Prestige. I have owned and driven them all and for the bang for he buck Genesis is the Winner!

Under impressed not luxury in my book

After spending two years researching the Genesis brand I felt confident I was making the right decision to leave my trusted Lincoln and move to the GV80. Sadly I was wrong. Although I love the look of the GV80 that is where this story ends. The service has been less than stellar and so has the vehicle. I drive a lot and the seat is like sitting on a concrete wall! It is stiff and has no cushion no padding, I have the massage feature which is also not a very well done feature either as compared to other high end models I have owned. I have purchased memory foam custom cushions to try to improve to seat comfort but at an over $80k price tag I shouldn’t have to do that! This vehicle should have come with a stock seat that exudes comfort and luxury!

Brand new vehicle and know the service center concierge by name

Since owning the car, there have been two instances whereby a parasitic draw on the battery has rendered the vehicle inoperable. In both instances, I’ve had to contact Genesis Roadside Assistance, had no access to the vehicle for up to 4 days, and was forced to figure out life with no loaner. To make matters worse, the root cause of the problem seems hardly understood by the technicians, and I’ve had to escalate consumers to the NA Customer Advocacy team. My case simply cannot close as new technical glitches and challenges with OTA updates remain. The service center is now working to resolve a problem in the infotainment center where there is constant cycling through the menu options even while I am driving. This issue poses a distraction and safety hazard and I have little confidence that after a reset, the issue is fully resolved.
