After 2 Years

Still enjoying our GV after 2 years. Have had no issues with the vehicle except a low oil warning prior to scheduled service intervals. I cannot say the same of the Genesis dealer network. On our third dealer, first, where we bought the vehicle promised a new stand alone facility within a year and that they would take care of the vehicle at their Hyundai location, would not even schedule the first maintenance for us. Second dealer took care of first two scheduled maintenance then dropped the line. Now on to the third, so much for valet service. Latest effort to fix the low oil warning is to replace the sensor, doesn’t explain the drop in oil level.

Amazing vehicle that needs a little more acceleration.

This car is great. Few things it needs are: 1. Quicker acceleration 2. Switch the navigation and shift dial locations 3. Make the volume dials more usable 4. Electronic rear seats

It’s fine. It’s very pretty.

My headlight has moisture in it. Hoping warranty will cover replacing it. Gas mileage not the greatest. But I like the looks of it. I like the size of it.

The electrical components in the car are not reliable and the dealerships and service departments are horrible

Sold me a lemon and Hyundai couldn’t care less

Severe creaking heard inside the vehicle emanating from the rear spoiler, especially when car is in sunshine. Heard when driving and making turns. Couldn’t be repaired because it clearly is a design flaw that company doesn’t acknowledge. Others have same issue online. Transmission chugs within first three gears. Transmission began leaking after only 9000k miles and just 12 months. Charging pad causes iPhone to get hot and renders barely any charge to phone. Loading of the navigation system and infotainment system upon startup is inconsistent. Hyundai Genesis treats the customer poorly, is patronizing, and dismissive. The loaner and valet program when car is in for service is a joke. Often it’s not available for 4 weeks. Save years on your life and get a different luxury vehicle from another manufacturer.

Beautiful and Opulent car, knowingly made piirly

This car is gorgeous and drives like a dream but something WILL go wrong and given everyone has these issues all maintenance is backed up. Yes. It will be covered by warranty. But good luck getting a time slot or loaner car, even with a Genesis flagship dealer. I can’t imagine if I had to go through a Hyundai dealer
