It's close, but needs fine tuning.
Overall I'm pleased with the gv70, but it really needed some fine tuning before being released to market. Small things like how it takes 5 lbs to trigger the seatbelt alarm in the back (this can be turned off, but I have kids, I want it on), to big things like how the car will detect that I'm nearby, as shown when it opens the mirrors, but it won't unlock the car no matter how many times I try to open the door unless I press the unlock button on my fob. It can take up to a minute to unlock, which feels like forever when it's raining, three kids are trying to get in, and I have stuff to set down in order to pull out my keys and unlock it. It's infuriating, and happens probably once a day.
The driving is incredible. The interior is nice and sleek. It just needs those things that other car brands have fine tuned in order to be ready to compete.
