Damn good vehicle, maybe consider some small changes?

I came from 30 years of Porsche's and this is very close to being perfect! I loved the fact that it comes with all the bells and whistles, almost all. A couple of points I'd like to see changed. The Auto-Off at the stop lights is very jerky upon starting? My old car had a switch to disable. The speedometer is located in the far left side of the instrument panel, can't be moved. I drive with my hands at 10 and 2, so my left hand blocks the speedometer. Have an option where you can center it on the dash. It seems to have a hesitation (only have 1000 miles) and that is a little irritating. Simplify the software on the righthand display. The great stuff is the absolute silence of the interior, quality of the radio, acceleration, fit and finish. I know its not a Porsche, but it also doesn't cost $116,000, which was the replacement for my Macan the way it was ordered 10 years ago. It's a quality car and I will adjust to it over time.

Solid Value Despite a Few Quirks

Be prepared for an overwhelming tech experience - takes multiple visits with the dealer to understand how and why everything works; outstanding ride comfort and quick engine response but poor gas mileage. Not a fan of the rotary dial transmission and its location particulrly so close to another dial for tech changes. Haven't had the car long enough to rate reliability long term but no problems in the first coupple months of ownership. Also, not a fan of the 12V battery located in the hatch floor below the spare tire. While it has "jump tabs" in the engine compartment they are not recommended for using a trickle charger if yiou are gone for long periods. No convenient 12V charger (cigarette lighter) to utilize a windshield cam.

LOVE this car and everything it offers!

This car is an absolute dream to drive. It's comfortable, responsive, fast and beautiful. My husband had researched new vehicles for over a year (no kidding), and this brand was one of our top choices. We test drove another luxury brand but were not impressed. The minute I sat in the GV70, it just felt right. And when I drove it, I knew it was the one. It's a gorgeous car and offers so much for the money. I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Absolutely love my 2026 GV70!

My first experience with a Genesis. I have owned other luxury vehicles, but none of them come close to driving the GV70. This car has it all…and then much much more!!!

Love it

Overall we love this car. It is. Very comfortable for both short and long trips. Fun to drive. Handles well and is very peppy . Voice commands to the GPS work great. Way better than my Mbz. Wish the passenger seat had massage like the driver's seat. My wife really misses it. Very disappointed with the Adaptive cruise control and cannot useit It keeps beeping repeatedly and shutting down while telling me to keep my eyes on the road ( even though I am looking straight ahead at the cars in front of me)

Tempermental Infotainment System. Went cheap on ambient lighting

This is my third GV 70. While I still thoroughly enjoy this vehicle, the Infotainment System is buggy. In particular the Sirius XM aspect. I intermittently get "antennae problem, "Sirius XM Loading" all the while the radio is playing. I can't change the station when this happens. I have had to pull over, shut the car off and go into Accessory Mode to reset the system and then it works fine until it happens again. It seems to happen when I touch the radio button on the dash. I brought it to the dealership and they told me they are getting no error messages when they diagnosed so I just have to live with it. I have a Sports Prestige which is the top end model. Genesis removed the ambient lighting on the door rests which was a favorite of mine. Oddly the lower end models have the ambient lighting on the door rests as well as the same ambient lighting as the Sports Prestige.

Very comfortable cockpit. All of the controls are all very assessable

The car is smooth driving, quiet, and a joy to drive. I'm still learning the electronics and how to operate them. there is plenty of leg room in the rear seats and climate controls. With the rear seats down it is spacious to haul most anything of size.
