Awesome ride!

The GV70 is a good looking vehicle with plenty of pick up and a smooth ride. However, I have had it appear to be “dying” when trying to pull out quickly from a stop. Also, it has some quirky electrical thing where the doors do not always lock or unlock by touch as it should do.

Great vehicle

I bought my GV70 after the lease on my Porsche Macan expired. The Genesis feels roomier and has better electronics and comparable handling and power. I've been very happy with the GV70, which I purchased.

Excellent experience. Met & usually out performed the data for the car

Retired couple; use it for the dog & going to the garden center. Every thing else is first rate, & wifie & I appreciate the quiet ride, the comfortable seats, etc.

Good except for the display/control system

I’ve enjoyed the car. Problem is with the control system. The car should come up at startup with the last display. Also CarPlay has to be reset because it goes away at times

Service was too difficult to achieve

I bought this car from a dealership that was within the required mileage to have the dealership pick up and deliver the car when it needed serviced. Shortly after I purchased the car, the dealership relocated to another site. The new dealership was further away than what was the required distance in order to have the included pickup and delivery service which is one of the very reasons I bought the car. I requested to be 'grandfathered' in to take advantage of this service which was included in the price of this car. I was denied. It became so time consuming to take the car into service, that I no longer wanted the vehicle and traded it for another car.

Worst service I have ever experienced

When I first bought the car it was decent. I was really loving about everything about it. I would change the seat because they are not comfortable. I had little minor issues like the screen flickering. Called the service department and was told it would be a month before I could be seen! That was without asking for the concierge service. If I wanted the concierge service it was a 2 month wait! That is unacceptable sine this was one reason I bought the car. Got that issue fixed and than it needed its check up. Again had to wait 3 weeks. I has another small issue and wanted to just ask a question. I was put on hold for 30 min only to have someone pick up and hang up on me. That was the last straw! I Traded in my Genesis for a BMW and haven't looked back. The GV70 was decent for the price but clearly Genesis can't keep up with the service. I took a 30K loss just so I could get out of having to deal with the dealership.

8 nightmare to get maintenance on this vehicle.

Finding maintenance now that Genesis separated a sofa, Hyundai became a real problem. Well, the other Genesis are overwhelmed with all the clientele that they receive from Hyundai. Before he came, a nightmare would not buy this vehicle. Just on the fact that the maintenance has become very difficult They want to produce a car, but then they don't have the manpower to maintain the vehicles in pristine condition.
