Technology features are outdated

My main issue is that technology, safety and driver assist features are lacking and not nearly as advanced as other cars that are priced less - The HDA does very little - there are cars available for less money with far more advanced hands-free driving capabilities like Cadillac and even Ford. There is an HDA 2 (for which there is no information available at all anywhere on the Genesis website and the dealers have no knowledge in the differences between the HDA and HDA 2) - and I was considering upgrading my car to a 2026 GV70 2.5T model to get the HDA 2 but realized it is only available on the GV70 3.5T model which is above my price range The NAV on my 2004 was outdated even when I got the car Many similarly priced cars have more updated safety features - like automatic braking to avoid collisions in intersections and avoiding pedestrians and bicyclists - also the blind spot assist does very little to prevent the car from moving out of its lane to avoid collision with a car in the blind spot

Nice looking but quirky technology

The key fob won't synch with the doors, sesting, mirrors etc. Each driver needs to confirm that its' him/her behind the wheel, then the car takes up to minute to adjust the seating, mirrors, etc. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things; but I could have paid a lot less for a car without this capability and so with a vehicle this expensive it's more than annoying every time we get in to drive. Also: the sensors were out of whack just after I picked it up; there was a camera that was out of alignment. I had to use my insurance to fix it and was not in any way responsible for the misalignment. Really bush league. Bottom line; pretty doesn't make up for the other flaws of this car and this car company.

Disappointed

Excited when I purchased my new GV70. Great looking and fun to drive. Nine months in, had fuel injector replaced and dealer handled fairly quickly. However eighteen months after purchase, had an issue that rendered the GV70 inoperable. Will not expound on the situation other than to say the experience has been disappointing.
