An Outstanding & Unique EV

There is literally nothing like it on the road around me. I have seen 3 of them in total since I ordered, received and driving it (8 months). Unlike a Tesla which I see 10-15 every day! I wanted something that not many people have or are likely to see. My vehicle rides so much better than my brother's Tesla. The interior of his is stark and clinical. Mine has a luxury vehicle worthy interior. I also like the redundant controls of my vehicle. There are sometimes 3 different ways to perform a task from using the touchscreen, a physical button and the rotary controller. I researched this vehicle for 2 years before I leased it. It has so many options and features that are lacking on other EVs. It has more than enough power and I can get around 270 miles per charge. Of course that figure will drop during the Winter months. The technology while impressive can't match that of a Tesla. Also, the vehicle is quite expensive which is one of the reasons I decided to lease it.

Smooth, comfortable, luxurious ride

The GV60 is like riding on a pillow. Really comfortable, quiet, and feature rich. My only complaint is the stereo doesn't sound very good.

Very Nice Car. Tech Needs Work

Car is nice and drives well. Tech, and methods for figuring it out, are ridiculously overcomplicated. My Ford Bronco Sport has just as much tech and makes it easy to learn and use. Lack of wireless CarPlay is comical, but even more so is the service department's inability to tell me when it's coming or what is in a software update that THEY installed. Also, I know you have to differentiate trim levels, but holding back a heated steering wheel and blind-spot dash camera in a car at this price is silly.

Fun when it works...why doesn't it?

I have owned this vehicle for just over two months and it has spent half that time in the dealer's shop. Some sort of electrical failure (12V) has bricked it on three occasions and the dealer cannot seem to resolve the issue. It's been fun to drive in the brief periods I've had it. Not sure it will last

Good but could be better.

Beautiful inside and out. Tech is glitchy and unreliable. Screen goes black sometimes. ICCU was already replaced. 12v battery recharge is sketchy. Dies from time to time, I recharge on my own then fine, dealer cant reproduce. If you accelerate quickly the regen is allover the place. I had a g90 from a hyundai dealership, the first year. They always picked it up. I never went. Now full genesis dealership. I am there too much. Dealership experience not as good.

12v battery and seat issues;

My 12v battery had to be replaced twice in the first two weeks. Power seat setting won’t save. Difficult to get a NACS adapter since they force you to buy direct from the dealer. Universal Genesis in Orlando is of no help whatsoever.

Great Car Value

The Genesis GV60 is a great EV for the price! The controls are easy to figure out (although I'm still trying to figure out if I can program the vehicle to start conditioning the cabin about 15 minutes before I head to work in the morning or head home in the evening like I could with my VW ID4 which I traded for this). The interior is spacious and nicely appointed. I just took it on a road trip from Atlanta to Asheville, NC and I was a bit surprised by the amount of wind noise I heard (My VW ID4 had sound deadening glass on all sides) - it wasn't awful but there was more than I suspected. On urban streets and lower speeds, the cabin in really quiet. The range is noticeably better on an 80% charge than my VW ID4 would get. I would highly recommend to anyone considering the intelligent move up to an EV from an ICE vehicle.

Great EV!

Car is great. Comfortable, quick, quiet, smart. Only problem is that 12volt battery died twice in the first month. Genesis could find problem, but it hasn't died in two months since.
