A little disappointing
I really do like my GENESIS G80, also I have a few disappointments. I’ve had my car almost a year or just over a year. I have had to send it to the dealership because the trunk latch motor did not work, had to send it back to the dealership because the horn didn’t work. The dealership has been great. My biggest disappointment is I have black seats with red piping, the red piping keeps swearing off. I have had it repaired twice once the insurance company covered it from what the dealer tells me by mistake, and once the dealership took care of it last week. I was told that because the piping is in a high wear area, it could no longer be covered because it is a high wear area. Makes no sense to me that I should have an $80,000 plus car where the piping on the seat wears out!!! I know your engineers are very smart people, and would expect that if something like this were apparent to them they would not put it in the vehicle so it would aggravate your customers. I love my car as I said, but I don’t pay $80,000 to have a car or the piping on the seat wears out! A little item, but a little item is very disappointing to me and very disturbing.
