Overall, the service was fine and I appreciate my service advisor. However, my wiper fluid reservoir was not filled (it’s almost empty), so it makes me wonder what other fluids were not topped off.
Also, this is the second time that the trim piece at the corner of the windshield and hood was not replaced correctly. It was flying up at a 90 degree angle as I drove. I had to pull off the freeway to partially correct it and had my dad help me to get it fixed correctly the following day.

Regarding the windshield washer fluid reservoir, it is our standard practice to inspect and top off all fluids as part of our service process, and we sincerely apologize if this was overlooked by accident. Please know that we are reviewing this internally to ensure proper procedures are being followed consistently, and rest assured that your fluids have been checked, if there is still a concern, please feel free to stop by anytime and we are happy to recheck all fluids for you while you wait.

However, we would like to clarify that this trim component is not one we would have removed or disturbed during the scope of work performed. Excellent Customer Service
The West team assessed the transmission damage to my SUV and charged fair diagnostic fees to perform two separate diagnostics. I became vehicle-less while visiting San Diego but live in another County. The team at West took good care of my car until I could have it towed to OC.

Emergency car issues
It was an emergency setting that my car was brought here. Great customer service and caring of my car while I had it towed to a closer mechanic. I found it a bit pricey.

First time with West, was tired of dealing with the Dealer robots.
Made my appointment online for scheduled maintenance. Bruce called me right after I scheduled to follow up and confirm. Dylan was great when I checked in. They provided shuttle service back home. Dylan called with recommendations in a timely fashion. The vehicle was ready by the end of the day. To my chagrin, the vehicle was beautifully washed when ready for pickup.

A professional experience in having my van repaired.
Bruce, the service writer, was very thorough with me about finding the cause of the tire failure.
The company is commended for having a shuttle service to Hertz car rental. The repairs were completed the next afternoon, and I'm on the road again.

poor communication
I agreed to a group of additional service actions based on the statemnet from the service advisor. Bruce, that the car would be ready at the end of the day. It wasn't and I didn't learn until after the shop was closed.

At 4:30 I found a voice mail asking me to call. There was no idication that the car was not ready nor that the shop would close in 30 minutes. I called back 5 minutes later but Bruce was unable to take the call and the person who answered said he he pass on the message. After hearing nothing, I called around 5:05 and only then was told the car was not ready, no one could pick me up, no recognition of the staement to finish this today with no sense on owner of helping finding a solution. He didn't care.

I discussed this with Dillon on the follwoing Monday, who was sypathetic but could offer no remediation to offer the unexpected car rental cost.

As this has never happened before, I thought quite a bit since then about how to continue with West. But the communication was so poor that I concluded the "don't care attitude" of Bruce must force me to go someplace else.

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to follow up regarding your recent service experience with us, particularly around the delays in getting your car completed and the communication issues that occurred.

First and foremost, I want to sincerely apologize for the frustration this situation caused you. I completely understand how important it is for you to have timely communication, and I regret that this wasn’t the case.

As Bruce explained during conversation, during leak detection a leak or leaks can often take time to fully reveal themselves, and while Bruce made every effort to provide you with an accurate timeline, He was unable to give a specific ETA for completion. Bruce did try to reach out to you twice earlier in the day—around 2:00 p.m. and again at approximately 4:15 p.m.—to let you know that the car would not be ready by the end of the day. Unfortunately, it seems that these voicemails were not received or listened to before you called back later in the evening.

When you and Bruce did finally speak, He tried to explain that by that time, the technician and porters had already left for the day, which limited what He could do in that moment. I understand this was frustrating, and we truly apologize for not being able to provide a more immediate solution or a clearer timeline.

Please know that I do care deeply about ensuring our customers are satisfied, and I do take your concerns seriously. I apologize once again for the way things unfolded, and I want to assure you that we will work on improving our communication process moving forward to prevent situations like this from happening in the future.

If there is anything else I can do to address this situation or if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us, and I want to make sure we do everything we can to restore your trust.

Noise - diagnostic check
Only complaint is one of the mechanics stepped on the clean gray plastic bottom door frame leaving black grease all over.
I got it all off with simple green and some scrubbing.

Over priced
Expensive! They did solve my issue, but, they charged me about $150 to diagnose my truck. Once they believed to have fixed the problem, they ran it through their computer again and 2 codes popped up. They charged me an additional $150 dollars to see what was wrong and why those codes popped up. The purpose of the inital 150 for diagnosis was to see what's wrong with the car. Yet, they charged me an additional 150 to diagnos for a second time. Not right!
