My sister brought her truck in and had a really bad experience with this mechanics shop. It’s a long story but I will try to explain it the best I can.
Sister was having trouble with her truck. Brought it to Victory. They said it needed a new fuel pump and a fuel pump control module. Bill came to almost $1000. My sister drove the truck for a day and the check engine light came on. She called Victory. Over the phone he said it’s probably the high pressure fuel pump and she should bring it in. She asked me about it and I told her if it was the high pressure pump there would be other symptoms other than just a check engine light. She brought it to me and I put a scanner on it. Code P0451 something about a fuel tank pressure sensor. So I pulled that sensor off and used an ohm meter to measure resistance. Open Line between all blades of the sensor. This sensor is part of the fuel pump assembly that Victory put in (which was an O’Reilly Auto part and not OEM, like the mechanic told me over the phone.) so I put the sensor back in and told my sister to tell them what I found. I assumed they would have to take the whole assembly out and warranty the whole thing.
So she dropped the truck back off and told them what I found. They got back to her a couple days later and said it was showing two different codes that never came up for me. They said the EVAP purge Solenoid was bad along with some other EVAP parts. Gave her an estimate for over $600 with no mention of the faulty sensor. My sister again called me and I told her that none of that sounds right. I then Called the shop and talked to the head mechanic/possibly the owner. I tried explaining what I found and he kept talking over me. Telling me how these parts are common to fail and how good he is, been doing it for over 40 years. They charged my sister $85 diagnosis fee and she picked the truck up.
So I told my sister to bring the truck to me again. I picked up a fuel tank pressure sensor and did a resistance test on it. I don’t remember the figures but it did have resistance. I installed it. And while I was at it I tested the purge solenoid that Victory said was bad. It held vacuum and opened when 12v power applied. It functioned just fine. I was frustrated with Victory for a few reasons: 1. They didn’t fix the problem with the sensor. 2. They lied to my sister and we’re going to replace parts that didn’t need replacing and charge her $600. So I went to Victory to get reimbursed for the sensor and the diagnosis fee that they charged but clearly did not do.
Again I tried explaining the whole situation and why my sister should be refunded. And again he kept talking over me and giving me the same story about how good he is and how long he has been doing this. He also said he didn’t want to talk to me, just my sister because she was the customer. The lady at the front desk ended up calling the police. They showed up and I talked to them. The officers were very understanding of why I was so frustrated but that there was nothing they could do. In the end they refunded my sister the $85 diagnostic fee back but refused to pay for the sensor.
Victory auto was clearly trying to take advantage of my sister trying to replace parts that were working just fine and charging her another $600 that still wouldn’t have fixed the problem. They were either lying about diagnosing the truck or are just inept “mechanics.” And then when confronted about issues they showed terrible customer service. I’m writing this review to hopefully prevent them from taking advantage of more customers. Please look elsewhere for a trustworthy mechanic.

Brake job and oil change
Friendly staff Great service had brakes and oil change done reasonably price well definitely recommend Friends and family
Spoke with Andrea. She said the business promised her vehicle would be repaired in one week but it took one month to complete the repairs for various reasons.
Hector said the business did everything he needed done to his vehicle and they did not try to do any unnecessary repairs. They were honest and he trusts them. He recommends them for service all of the time.
Oscar said he needs to return to this business to fix a noise that his vehicle has been making since his visit. It suddenly sounds like an old vehicle that makes loud sounds. The staff at this business is good and the service is good. He had a good experience.

This place is fantastic! They do great work at an extremely fair price. Always very courteous and they treat their customers great! I will continue to have all of my vehicles serviced here!
